I think Lester got it right when he designed the physical layout and the menu for this sports bar. It is roomy and despite the crowd and theme, the noise level was fine and there is plenty of room between tables. They have great sandwiches, meat platters, salads and other bar food. The portions are large and the food is... More

Went with a group of 7 from work for lunch. Looks like a great place to watch the games and have a few beers. My smoked turkey wrap was excellent. Also shared a large bowl of matzo ball soup. Actually was very good for a restaurant version. I've had some in the past which were awful. The fish sandwich was... More

Love this place to hang out with friends. The pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are so good!! Great place to watch sports. It is a little pricey. I dined there last night and one colossal sandwich, cole slaw, pickle and three glasses of Pinot Noir was $48 with tip.

We paid WAAYYY too much for a "colossal" sandwich. We also paid too much for chips and spinach artichoke dip. It took 10 mins for someone to begin serving us. And the manager passes by us at least 5 times as we waited! The food wasn't that great. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Portions are huge. Corned beef sandwich was piled high. Bbq slider appetizer consisted of 4 sandwiches. Salads were great. Nice environment and attentive service, too

My husband had to go to STL on business. The Cardinals were in town, but we were unable to get downtown to the game. We wanted to find a fun bar to watch the game. We found Lester's in a magazine as "the best place to watch a game". So we went. The staff was attentive, and the food was... More

You will always have fun at Lester's! High energy bar and lots of TV's to watch all sorts of sporting events. Food is very good and reasonable too! Casual and fun neighborhood spot.

Great bar, good drinks with no pretense...a watering hole like they used to be! I'm not a huge fan of the restaurant; not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just that huge cured meat deli sandwiches aren't why I dine out. High quality ingredients in everything they do, though, and it is very popular. Their dry rub chicken wings... More

We ate at Letster's and there were four of us. My husband ordered his hamburger med. well and it was red. we had two wraps both bad. I will say the Toasted ravioli was really good. We had two beers on our tab and no other drinks and spent 100 dollars for four people to eat. I am fine with... More

Lester's has several restaurants in St. Louis and I have eaten at two of them. They are constant and rather typical but good bar food. They are sort of like a diner, although the typical sandwiches are not as good as the hamburgers, wings, etc. Many beers but wine list is limited. Lots of sports on tvs. service is fine,... More
