Similar, of course, to Subway and others of that style, but with a better range of options without a bunch of upcharges.

Planet Sub is a sandwich shop in the same league as Subway, Goodcents, Quiznos' and Firehouse Subs. Clever sandwich names, accessible pricing. You could do worse.
This is our default sub shop when we're looking for a quick bite. Our fave is the 75th and Wornall location because it's close to home. The southwest chicken sub is deilcious, but so are all of their subs. The bread makes the difference!

OK, it's a sub shop, but I love the Planet Veggie sub, and other veggie subs are also good, and they will customize for you too. Fresh bread. Not many sides, but a 6" sub is very filling and will work for most folk.
With bread baked fresh everyday, matched up with quality ingredients, toasted to perfection, this is a sandwich that is a can't miss. With locations all around kansas City it's easy to drop by and grab a sandwich or two to go.
Great fresh subs...super good and decent prices!!!
Sorry guys, I gave this place over 3 years business, and it just keeps getting worse. Soggy bland subs. Stoner employees. Went to Plaza location tonight. Picked up phone in order. Not another custobbmer in place, bad service, no Thank You, eye contact. Ordered sub dry, came with loads of sauce. Never again.
Best Subs in KC bar none! They have fresh homemade bread and fresh toppings. They also have salads and mini pizzas. They have a unique system of bringing out the sandwiches to you - you get a playing card and they call out your playing card to you. It's great fun! A must try when traveling to KC.
The restaurant at Main is in the old firehouse. It still has the lockers and the map on the walls. The menu can be intimidating. But take time to scan it. You will find something enjoyably unique. There is a list of soups as you approach the register. My personal favorite combo is the Super Hero and the black bean...
