Great food and service

We were very excited about Grinders and it didn't disappoint. We got a small pizza and 6 wings to split between the two of us and it was all delicious. The pizza had just enough toppings and also wasn't overloaded with sauce. It had a great ratio of sauce to toppings. The wings were also very good... read more

Visited Grinders after a baseball game.... The food was terrific! My son and I had the Philly Cheesesteak with Cheese Whiz and my daughter had the Tuna Melt. Both were outstanding along with the service. The restaurant itself is in an older building with interesting decor. Definitely in a more liberal part of town but don't let that stop you... More

Food is terrific., Ambiance - fun. I probably would not necessarily take my children there for an evening meal but it is great for a group of friends or couples. The wait staff is very efficient and take excellent care of you. Be certain not to play it "safe" with an entree you feel comfortable with like chicken fingers -... More

Pros: Great Pizza, friendly staff, unique interior Cons: Can get expensive when adding toppings. They need ceiling fans and better air conditioning! Seating is limited for large groups.

We stopped in here during our road trip out west after seeing Grinders make a DDD appearance. Finding a place to park was a major challenge and the location was somewhat....sketchy. But we pressed on anyway. The place was crowded but we happened to get a booth just as someone was leaving. The vibe was a little rowdier than I... More

We were there after the lunch rush & I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. It was unbelievable. It was hot, juicy and very tender. My wife had the bare cheese burger & it was good too. The Crab rangooon was excellant with a lot of crabmeat. The Service was horrible. One person took the order, another one brought us the food,... More

It was good, nothing to write home about. The pizza was disappointing. I saw this place on DDD and understand why, the place has a cool vibe and the staff was cool. But back to the pizza, I had the Fun Gui (get it, it has mushrooms, hee, hee) and it was not the flavor bomb that Guy Fieri was... More

Parking was a hassle because of a concert, but after a 5 minute wait, we were able to seat all 8! The food was fantastic & our server Olivia was fantastic, she knew her menu & kept up with all of our requests.

I'll begin by saying that we ate at the newest Grinder's Stonewall in Lenexa, KS. It's located in an old house with a lovely wood paneling and fun atmosphere. The Reuben is fabulous with a hint of heat from the jalapenos. Try their Caesar Salad, it's grilled and has a wonderful mix of flavors. The Veggie Philly, the South Philly... More

it's noisy, but you will forget the noise when you taste the pizza. This owner is from Philly, and his speciality pizza is Philly steak and cheese. Better than any pizza I've had. The noise is from everyoe talking to each other. A friendlier place, you will never find. If you have to give guests some KC barbecue, how about... More
