The food is amazing! The French Toast is the best I have ever had and the service was excellent. The owners definitely know how to run a restaurant and we were very pleased.

We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. The care in preparation and presentation was phenomenal! Every ingredient was well thought and each dish was as much fun to eat with your eyes before actually tasting. Fantastic!

I highly recommend the Sunday brunch! Excellent meal. Reasonably priced and we enjoyed wonderful service. We had not been there in years. It appears the restaurant has been updated or remodeled since our last visit. I had the Eggs Benedict and my wife had the french toast. Make sure you have a glass of the freshly squeezed OJ.

Excellent brunch. I'd recommend the Bloody Mary! I requested very crisp bacon...our waiter checked back several times to ask if it was done to my satisfaction.

First time at Bluestem and maybe my expectations were to high. I entered and was greeted by a hostess. I asked to sit and the bar and it was granted. I really liked the interior. The bar was subdued with a partial exposed kitchen and seating in the bar area. The atmosphere reminded me of an upscale library. While no... More

The place was full at 1:30pm on Sunday, which we considered a good sign. The ambiance is delightful. The food is even better. We ordered crepes and french toast. The french toast was honestly the best I have ever tasted. I never even knew french toast could even be so good. Loved the whole experience.

This is fine dining at it's very best, every detail is thought out and the wine list is one for the ages. Hamachi in the middle of Missouri seemed odd at first but, boy am I glad I did!

This is an amazing restaurant. Hard to get reservations, there are two seatings, between 6-6:30 and 8-8:30 pm weeknights. Menu is limited and varied. Prix fixe, 3 courses, 5 courses or 10 courses, with or without wine pairings. It is important that your whole group get the same number of courses. We all got 3 and it was enough, 5... More

We enjoyed our five course menu with wine pairing. The dishes were perfect for a summer celebration, and most courses were delicious. The Hamachi was overcooked and salty, but the heirloom tomato and goat cheese was one of the best things I've ever tasted. The service was wonderful, and the dining room is comfortable and sleek. Overall one of the... More

Please note: This review is not about the main dining area of Bluestem where the Prix Fix menu is served. We had an early dinner/happy hour in the Bar area. First, the bar has a cool vibe. Clean Lines, nice lighting, not stuffy or uncomfortable appearing at all . My friend and I sat at the bar (nice purse hooks... More
