Unique and interesting

After many huge and heavy dinners, we wanted something simple and tasty. Others had recommended this little restaurant, and said that their hamburgers are so good. We went, and my husband did have a very good burger with fries. I had the "Grilled Knockwurst" with cole slaw, and it was delicious... read more

Normally I'm all about trying new places, and ironically since I started writing reviews I am eager all the more. However, this one was a complete bummer. We were seated at a table that was considerably close to another that had kids running about, and the table top was extremely sticky. I had my two youngest with me (8 and... More

We were looking for a place to hit for lunch while at Crown Center. My intention was to eat at Fritz's, but there was a long line and my husband and 7-year old son were not in the mood to wait so we stopped here. Lesson learned, if one place has a long line and one place has no line,... More

What a lot of the reviewers don't know is this little trolley has been around KC for maybe 50 years...starting out at 43rd and Main. Used to be the place to be on a Saturday night...and it held up nicely for awhile after the move to Crown Center. Appears that it's gone to hell.

It's now 3:30am and I'm still awake. Why? My husband and I went to enjoy Christmas time at crown center. After some shopping we decided to go eat. My husband wanted pizza, but I thought this restaurant looked nice. I should have (I hate admitting this) listened to him. He had the cheeseburger and I the tenderloin. The fries were... More

This was our second choice when visiting Crown Center for a day of Christmas Festivities. Our first choice was Fritz's but the line was super long. Noon was a crazy time but there was no wait at Street Car Named Desire. Although there were table empty both in the garden area and the restaurant area, we were told the only... More

The name is catchy and the location is great, but it is just missing something. It seems very lazy to me. paper plates, horrible food. Ordered a BLT and it had a couple slices of bacon and 2 pieces of toast that looked like a cheap version of Sarah Lee Bread that you make for kids lunches. Lettuce and tomato... More

This was connected to the hotel which made it east to walk to. We just had sandwiches but the food was good and came out quickly

This restaurant is conveniently located near the Westin Crown hotel. The food was pretty good, and the staff was very friendly. Great restaurant for being inexpensive and conveniently located.

Two adults & 2 kids (age 4 & 6) - Burger was ok, waitress said it was a 1/3 lb and it looked like a frozen patty (funny that she asked me how I would like it cooked - you can't control medium-rare to medium well on a patty that thin. and you are not allowed to order rare hamburger).... More
