We visit the Overland Park area annually for business. Fred P Otts is walking distance from the hotel. The atmosphere is fun with daily food and drink specials. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about local beers. A must visit.

Staying with a friend and this was the closest place to walk to on a cold night. It was a lot smaller than I thought would be. There is a bar, a few scattered tables, and an upstairs area that was occupied by some sort of "Ladies Club" who were more than a tad hostile when I strayed into their... More

Fun little pub - reminded us of some of our Irish/midlands UK haunts. Easy to find - good for snacks and nice little beer/IPA issues. No biggie but kind of fun. The upstairs "lair" is cute.

This restaurant has stood the test of time in the Country Club Plaza... A central location with outside seating or enjoy the many screens , inside, for viewing your favourite sport while sipping a local beer in a real " American Bar" !!! Enjoying the renowned F.P.Ott Burger or Rueben Sandwich with Onion Rings.... A great meeting place that has... More

I heard on the Radio of the best Philly Cheese Steak was at this new chain in town. Not true!! Best Philly Cheese Steak goes to Fred P Ott's Bar and Grill. Fred P Ott's is not a fancy restaurant but if you want good American Bar Food there is none better. What I like about any of their locations... More

I know Fred P's has been around a long time. The drinks are affordable, and if you are just hanging out for happy hour it is fine, but man there is a definite funk when you walk in the door. I wouldn't eat there for dinner. Used the restroom once and wish that i hadn't.

I wanted something other than a big dinner and the hotel recommended this place. Fred P. Ott's isn't long on a wine list, but the burgers are pretty good and the onion rings just right. If you want a late night snack or burger, saddle up the bar, say hello to Melanie and enjoy this place. Not a fine dine,... More

A regular late night place for food. Relaxed atmosphere and good burgers and rings. Plus Newcastle on tap.

I ignored bad reviews on another site or two, and had an OK experience here for a happy hour a month ago. Stopped in the other night as I was jonesing for a beer & a burger, and happened to be close. Grabbed a stool at the bar. The burger was good, onion rings great; but any desire I had... More

We usually hit here after an early ballgame at Royals stadium. Last couple of times I have felt like we were keeping the place open beyond when the staff wanted to stay and it was only 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. We were the last ones to eat and they started closing up while we were still eating, really... More
