A pretty cool environment here plus extremely friendly service. Located in the heart of the University of Missouri at Kansas City campus. I would assume during regular session that parking could be a pain or that it would be hectic when filled with students. Pizza is good, not great. Slices are huge. I can eat and still should have only... More

The thin crust pizza slices - the slices themselves cut into smaller squares for easier eating - provide crispy, flakey crust that is topped traditional pizza toppings. This is definitely a no frills type of place -- in fact it's situated in an old gas station -- but Pizza 51 does thin crust pizza quite well. In terms of pizza... More

The sevice was very poor. Went for a quick slice and waited over 15 minutes for a one slice of cheese pizza. No one followed up with the status of my order. I would not recommend this place if you want a quick bite. Also the outdoor seating is next to a sewer, which is not very appetizing .

Good for families. They give the kids a wad of dough to play with. We go a couple of times a year. Nothing fancy - close to UMKC campus.

We were in town visiting family and they took us here. We ordered a whole pizza to share and it was delicious. Our 2 kids loved it. Great, easy-going atmosphere.

Pizza 51 is a locally owned business operating in what used to be an old gas station. Their slices are delicious for the price, given that each slice is taken from their version of a large (26"). P-Funk, as my friends call it, is so good that they had to open a second location.

I get the same thing every time, I've found something that works and is great every time. The 5 toppings for $5.99 deal is great! Be creative and enjoy!

Pizza 51 offers students (and everyday normal people) the opportunity to eat pretty good pizza for relatively cheap. All you need is one slice of pizza and some time to kill. Sitting out on the patio when the weather is warmer is the perfect experience.
