We ate at the Webster house before a ballet at the Kauffman Center. We had the shrimp and grits and bruchetta for appetizers and for dinner I had the house salad and the crab cake. I could not drink alcohol because I was pregnant and the.waitress never once refilled my water but she sure did make sure everyone at my... More

This is my fourth or fifth visit to Kansas City and I was looking forward to a lovely lunch with my daughter and her partner before a tour of the Kaufman Center. We ordered the trio to start, the roasted red pepper soup with salad and half panini, the sicilian tuna sandwich and the pasta with butternut squash, pesto and... More

We made a reservation (which is a must as they are very busy before an event at Kauffman) and ate a wonderful meal prior to the event. Pricier than our usual but some of the best food we have eaten and nice wine list as well. The pumpkin Gnocchi was fabulous. Webster house is in a restored 1885 old school... More

After a long day sight-seeing in & around Kansas City, we discovered Webster House. Our early arrival before opening was no problem. The bar was open and staffed by two excellent fellas. They assured us a table in the dining room would be awaiting us in a "little bit". While slakining our thirst, we met a local person who was... More

I always enjoy mu lunch, dinner or happy hour the. Food is good. The building itself is something to see as it is built in a century old school. There are many shops to look inl oon the first floor.

I like dining here & have been here several times. They had an heirloom tomato salad that was just amazing. Pretty much everything I have ordered here has been impressive. The staff is friendly & the building is well kept. A great business lunch spot!

We went for Sunday brunch with friends. The French Toast was delicious, but more like a dessert - and it was one slice, at $12. The biscuits and gravy were very popular at our table, but I would rate it as perhaps a 7 - lots of sage, a bit too thick. The BLT was good but not great. The... More

We made reservations for brunch at 10:30. The antique store below was fun to browse around in since we arrived early. This place has alot of old charm. The menu was small and selective and the prices are a little high for the portion size, but the food was delicious and the service was top notch. I had the quiche... More

The praise of others who have dined at Webster House is well deserved. Reservations were easy, service was friendly and efficient, and the food was as fine as others have already commented. It's the most convenient place imaginable to have a fine supper prior to enjoying a concert at the Kauffman Center.
