Visited KC last month with my wife's family. We had a party of eight, with some picky eaters (two teens). We all had the Sunday brunch and took a long time deciding from all of the choices. The servers were exceptional and answered all of our questions. The food turned out to be wonderful! All of the items were outstanding... More

We took our sons to Webster House to celebrate the youngest one's 18th birthday. We reserved the chef's counter because our son is thinking of majoring in hospitality and management and culinary school. When we arrived, our 4 menus were specially printed for us, with "Happy 18th Birthday" at the top. Nice touch! The food was delicious as usual, and... More

I have been going here since this restaurant opened. I have had lunch and dinner and have always had good meals. This is a quaint restaurant inside a beautifully restored 1885 school house . It is also an antique store. Just beautiful. The menu is small and unique. I have never had a bad meal here. The service has always... More

We shared some small plates and it was perfect for a light meal before the opera. Definitely get the grits! WOW! All of the small plates we shared were wonderful. The Fried Green Tomatoes were yummy!

We ate at the Webster house before a ballet at the Kauffman Center. We had the shrimp and grits and bruchetta for appetizers and for dinner I had the house salad and the crab cake. I could not drink alcohol because I was pregnant and the.waitress never once refilled my water but she sure did make sure everyone at my... More

We made a reservation (which is a must as they are very busy before an event at Kauffman) and ate a wonderful meal prior to the event. Pricier than our usual but some of the best food we have eaten and nice wine list as well. The pumpkin Gnocchi was fabulous. Webster house is in a restored 1885 old school... More

After a long day sight-seeing in & around Kansas City, we discovered Webster House. Our early arrival before opening was no problem. The bar was open and staffed by two excellent fellas. They assured us a table in the dining room would be awaiting us in a "little bit". While slakining our thirst, we met a local person who was... More

I always enjoy mu lunch, dinner or happy hour the. Food is good. The building itself is something to see as it is built in a century old school. There are many shops to look inl oon the first floor.

I like dining here & have been here several times. They had an heirloom tomato salad that was just amazing. Pretty much everything I have ordered here has been impressive. The staff is friendly & the building is well kept. A great business lunch spot!
