Pleasant dinner spot

I have dined here many times. The overall quality is more hit-and-miss than it used to be. My ribeye last night not very tender, my husband's was the same. The appetizers were very good, shrimp and grits and the panzanella. Our server was very efficient and kind. The ambiance is good though it... read more

The first few times we went the food was great but it's on a steady decline these days. Last three times we've been disappointed. Chicken is blah, steak is tough lately, sides were undercooked. It was always the perfect place to go before a show at the Kauffman. Definitely not worth the expense anymore. Sad to see it in such... More

I struggled with what rating to give this interesting and very pleasant restaurant. It's located in a renovated old elementary school filled with antiques and small shops. The restaurant is on the second floor up a lovely staircase. The service is excellent and the ambiance is delightful. Unfortunately I was disappointed in my sandwich, a bacon, lettuce and tomato on... More

Over all we had a good Sunday brunch. I feel that it was over priced for the portion sizes. My kids had waffles. I had the special which was a BBQ with a sunny side up egg. My brunch was definitely different. My wife and oldest son had a quiche and biscuits and gravy they shared they both said the... More

The historic red brick school house is such a surprise to walk into. It is anything but plain. Beautiful staircase, lovely rooms. It was fun browsing through the 1st floor-very nice women's & some men's clothing & accessories, a room with children's clothes & toys, cards, antiques & home decor items. The 2nd floor is lovely. There is 6 different... More

The first floor has various rooms with unique items. This is a place that carries exquisite home furnishings you cannot find anywhere else. Stop in a Christmas for a delight. The Second floor has a pub and restaurant and group rooms for events. The food is delicious. Do not miss this special place. Make sure you have a reservation well... More

I have been a patron for years. Usually prior to a performance at the Kaufmann Center next door. So many times I have made reservations (which I recommend) at Open Table and requested fillets from the dinner menu. Never once has the chef refused. Chef does change menu seasonally. Most excellent service no matter which dining area you are seated... More

My son and I had reservations for dinner. This restaurant has several different rooms, and it was very odd, because only one table in each room was occupied. Clearly that says it all. I ordered a pork shank, which was inedible. It was not even nicely presented. It was just a huge piece of fat on the plate with two... More

It was our first visit to the Webster House, and I'd heard nice things about it from others. We thought it was a very cool place; nice inside and out (there is a patio). Parking is across the street. The wait staff was excellent and very cordial. My wife and I were there celebrating our 27th anniversary. We had two... More
