The new Fairway location is a far cry from the tradition that Stroud's established on 85th Street, and I mourn the loss of that location, but at least it's back in business and serving up the same excellent chicken and cinnamon rolls. This is the best down-home cooking restaurant I have ever experienced. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans with ham, and cinnamon rolls are died and gone to heaven good.
