We had nobody greet us at checkin stand and despite tables open were told to wait at the counter. Once seated instead of taking a drink order the waitress left then took forever to come back with even any menus. After we finally ordered, fifteen minutes later the brain dead waitress informs us they are out of what one of... More

I can't wait to go back. This place has a fresh juice menu. Yum. I personally had the pork hash. I was told by my neighbor, at the counter, that this dish was featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. Which is why he came to this place from North Carolina. The menu has a large variety of outside of... More

This place is one of my regular eateries when I'm in Kansas City. You can't beat the food, the service, or the environment. A little offbeat which is the way I like it.

We enjoyed breakfast at Succotash on a Saturday morning. Thankfully, we beat the rush and we were seated quickly. The menu wasn't very complete, meaning toppings were not listed and not explained well by the waitstaff. The barista made a delicious cappuccino, but it took a very long time. The atmosphere was very trendy and the portions were plentiful. Although... More

This is without hesitation one of the best breakfasts I've ever had either in or out of a restaurant. I've always had a mental idea of what breakfast SHOULD be like and the Farmstand is pretty much it. I had the Little Richard Expresso/Coke and it was an experience. It's expensive but you get a lot of drink for the... More

We tried Succotash for lunch on a Friday and the overall experience was okay. I enjoyed my food - Swedish pancakes with over medium eggs and bacon. The pancakes were filled with lignonberries which were pretty good. Other reviewers have described the decor as eclectic of funky but for me, it just looked like a garage sale exploded - and... A wide-ranging menu that might at first seem ambitious but is actually very well done. I had the Swedish pancake breakfast with lingonberry folded into the thin pancakes making a great tart contrast. Eggs over easy done perfectly, and excellent hash browns. My friend had pretty much the same. The next table over I saw a plate of Croque Monsieur... More

Place was busy so we got a seat in the cash only overflow. We were the only customers and had great service followed up with great food. I tried the peachy swedes which were amazing. My son who had already eaten his traditional cereal for breakfast, gobbled down his two pancakes, and my wife had the BYO burrito which was... More

Not very hungry coming in, the decor was eclectic at best. Ordered biscuits and gravy which were pretty decent, this coming from the southern gal used to some good biscuits and gravy. I ordered a mixed fruit and carrot juice, pretty tasty. When you come tho, do not go if you're in a hurry. Be sure to go when you... More

We had the everything in the kitchen sink veggie but we had the sausage gravy on top. It was delicious! We also had the massive wild blueberry pancakes also very good. Mr jeans green juice was yummy.
