We visited this local eatery on a girls trip to KCMO from out of state. While we unsure about the place upon driving by (seedy looking area with not many businesses), we were overjoyed when we walked in and saw the decor and food being served! We LOVED the decor: like a large diner, but more hip and eclectic. Bright... More

This used to be my favorite go to for breakfast/brunch, but my recent visit was not up to typical standards. Server was not attentive or friendly. Menu items that we frequently order were tasteless and mushy. It may be awhile before we visit again.

We found this gem of a place for brunch and glad we gave it a try. From the outside, the pink chandelier let us know this would be a pretty unique place and indeed it was. The decor inside was fun. The menu was extensive so there's something for everyone. Everything we tried was amazing (the kitchen sink, piggy in... More

We went to lunch with a party of 12 people from work. We were all seated together. Our waitress was wonderful and I know it was exhausting waiting on all of us. She was totally attentive even though the restaurant was packed. It's a fun atmosphere with an interesting menu. I would suggest going before the lunch rush for your... More

The restaurant was extremely busy so service was a little slow. They probably need a little more staff but it was ok. The juice selection was our favorite, with lot of different flavor combination. I had a crab crepe and disliked it, but everyone else said their food was good so I won't ding them too much. My crab was... More

It it sad to write such a negative review because the food is wonderful. We went for brunch today with our adult children and their 18 month old son. Highchairs all were broken. After being seated we waited 15 minutes before our waitress even came to take our drink order. We all knew exactly what we wanted and ordered drinks... More

The food was really good but the service we had was a little suspect. Our server just kind of wandered around and never really engaged us except to take our order, and even then she seemed a little out there. I asked her a few times for a refill on my coffee and she never even looked at me or... More

Had never been to Succotash so decided to try it for Saturday breakfast. Loved the vibe inside the restaurant and we had plentiful servings of good food! It seemed as if the juice selection was popular although we never ordered one. Highly recommend -only downside the hours posted indicated they open at 8 but when we arrived there was a... More

Cool, funky atmosphere. Awesome food. Reasonable prices. Has a retro diner feel. The pancakes were the biggest we had ever seen. Two people couldn't finish an order and the blueberries in them tasted fresh. This was a Diners, Drive ins, and Dives stop.

I came here with some friends for the first time on my birthday this past weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very attentive, and though they were crowded, they got us seated comfortably very quickly. They had unique options from fresh-pressed juice and specialty coffees to gluten free pancakes and skillets. Definitely get home fries; they... More
