Stopped for quick lunch. Nice facility, attentive wait staff and large selection on the menu. Ordered the two meat combo (pork ribs and sliced pork loin), baked beans and cole slaw. Ribs were a little dry, loin just right. Beans wonderful and slaw sweet. Portions were adequate and the servers efficient. I’ll go back! more
Fantastic BBQ located in older building (but interesting decor). Great service, super-friendly staff. Portions are very large so you might want to consider sharing. Family friendly. Best BBQ in KC hands down. more

I think that Jack Stack makes very good BBQ but I agree with a friend who has stated the place is "over rated and over priced." I just couldn't believe that people were willing to stand around for a half hour to eat there. more
I asked around KC to find out what locals thought their favorite BBQ was and most told me Jack Stacks. So we went there and The restaurant was very nice looking.
