Almost like NOLA!

Went here for date night. The atmosphere was wonderfully decorated in graffiti and Bourbon street flare. There was a live jazz band to spice up the flavour. I ordered the gumbo which was delicious and the Saint Charles which did not quite hit the mark. More like extremely spicy stir fry. But the... read more

The food is DIVINE. The bands are always great, sometimes a bit on the loud side. Great for friends or for taking the kiddos. Chicken a la Mer or the Stuffed Catfish are my favorites.

My friend and I were visiting after a day of working and wanted some jazz and desert. We got bread pudding... Beware it's got chocolate chips not raisins... Burbon Street coffee is delicious.

For a crazy, fun dining experience in Kansas City, you can't go wrong with Jazz. The decor is outrageous with kitschy posters, wall hangers, signs and graffiti covering almost every square inch of the place. Most nights, live entertainment from seasoned local bands is offered. All that, by itself, is worth the trip. The food is the icing on the... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City. I used to visit Louisiana regular basis, and this is the closest thing to it. Their Cajun food is out of this world. If you're in KC looking for excellent Cajun or seafood....you've found it!

Very good option if you like creole/Louisiana cuisine. I had a chicken a la mere dish that was awesome. Would highly recommend checking this place out as another option when you are tired of KC barbeque.

First impressions always count and I was not impressed with the atmosphere. In fact I started to debate If i was going to eat here or not because of the decor. It had pictures and newspaper clippings posted on the walls and I was here around haloween so you saw spiderweb and skulls all over the walls. When you pulled... More

I got the blackened chicken fettuccine. Flavor was fabulous, but the cream sauce was a bit too rich for me. Fried pickles were delicious!

Girl's night out! It was our first time eating crawfish, we didn't notice the step by step poster behind us, so we asked a member of the wait staff. He picked up a crawfish and step by step demonstrated. It was a bit odd he just took one off our table but he sure did teach us. Fun environment and... More

This is a KC institution! The place leaves a little to be desired in the cleanliness area, but it's sooo worth it! The service is pretty good and there's live jazz music. The food is fantastic! The crawfish étouffée is amazing! Peel and eat shrimp and a plate of fresh crawfish are always a good bet.
