The kids and I stopped here during a weekend trip to Kansas City and Legoland. I heard so many cool things about this restaurant I HAD to bring the kids. The line was long to enter, but to see the kids eyes when they saw the trains delivering food was cool. But that's about where it stopped. The service was... More

First time to Fritz's and can't wait to go back. You eat in old style soda shop booth with views from a train. You pick old style phone to call in your order. Food is delivered by tiny train. Complete with train whistle. It's adorable. Keeps kids of all ages entertained as you wait for your food. Food is burgers... More

A model train brings your food, what could be better than that for a kids. Maybe calling in the order on the table's phone. This was the perfect place for the kids after ice skating across the street. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was good. The atmosphere is really they reason to go to this restaurant.

Just a great atomosphere, food is not expensive, upbeat train theme and delivery is unique. Also, you can buy a neat train whistle that your kids will always enjoy and remember the occasion.

Frit'z is located in crown center in downtown area.. our first trip to the burger place and we enjoyed it.. the burgers are ok.. but I think what makes this place special is that your food is delivered to your table by a little train! An employee takes your drink order and brings your drinks to the table.. Ordering is... More

We took the kids simply for the tourist gimmick of the trains around the ceiling...figured it would be good for a laugh. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the Fritz's burgers are legitimately delicious and their prices are super cheap! (The burgers are a teeny bit on the small side, but at $2.99, I'll happily order two for my... More

For the person who had never been here before, thankfully we were with people who had been there before. After being seated, a glance of the menu shows basically burger/dog/grilled cheese type fare - basically fast food. The pricing was very inexpensive, especially for a mall restaurant in a major city. So there is a really good value for money... More

We ate at Fritz's Railroad Restaurant with our granddaughter. The food was really greasy, but everyone had fun watching the food being delivered by the trains. We liked the engineer hats, too. A good opportunity for pictures.

The food was just OK, but of course the environment is why we went. Kids of all ages (and us adults) loved watching the trains to see if it was our food coming to us. The line was long but not a horrible wait time.

Kids loved the trains. Food was average. Prices not outrageous. Had to wait for about half hour to get in.
