Delicious!!!!!

We tried a couple things on the menu and really LOVED their ravioli and the meatballs!!! The atmosphere was amazing, I honestly felt like I was in an old Italian movie! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Authentic Italian food is hard to find in the Midwest, but here it is, and it's outstanding. This hidden gem in a tiny neighborhood corner of Kansas City is not to be missed. The menu has so many choices... We had the Sicilian garlic dip with our warm bread, and then spiedini de pollo and the penne victoria. Both were... More

A friend recently mentioned Garozzo's as great Italian dining. It was fabulous from start to finish. Vinnie was our waiter, and he made valuable recommendations on both main courses and wine. We started with the stuffed artichoke alla siciliano. It was so mouthwatering. I could have had this as a meal. For dinner my husband had half veal spiendini and... More

While my family is a supporter of locally owned businesses Garozzo's makes this challenging. About 20 years ago, when I was ordering from the same menu that I saw this evening, I thought the food was really good. However, as a grown adult my experience tonight leads me to believe that the ingredients are not fresh--even the cheese on the... More

After hearing advertisements for years, we finally decided to try out Garozzo's and are very happy we did. The restaurant is tucked away in a nice little neighborhood, so we did park on the street. The tables are cozy, maybe a little towards being crowded. First thing I loved about the place was that the server actually tried to warn... More

A intense explosion of garlic hits you in the face when you open the door - which in my mind, all good Italian places should be like. They have a wonderful stuffed artichoke appetizer that is a must get. I appreciated their willingness to do half orders of their entrees as there were several we wanted to try. Chicken spiedinis... My food was not as ordered and I was only informed of this when an alternative dish was placed in front of me. As my group of friends had their meals, (the restaurant was now full), and we were going to a concert there was insufficient time to re-order. Consequently, I started to eat the meal - pasta with meat... More

This will fill you up. Get ready. Take it slow. Amazing food. Top 3 italian joints I have ever had. Looks like you are in the middle of an old neighborhood when pulling up, so don't be fooled ! Its there. Amazing food.

Make a reservation!!!!! Food was very good and rich, go easy on appetizers or you will have a tough time finishing your meal. Wait staff was very friendly. Seemed like a rough part of town, but it was really in a cool place.
