My family and I stopped in based on a recommendation from a local person when we asked about where the best local BBQ was. This restaurant is set up cafeteria style which surprised me at first, but it wasn't a problem at all. We had pulled pork, turkey sandwich, ribs, and a kids chicken fingers meal. Everyone enjoyed the food.... More

Everyone raved about his place so we went last time we were in Kansas City. Everything is good but I don't understand what there is to rave about. I'd go back if I wanted BBQ but I don't see it as all that better than most other places regardless of state.

Wow, ribs were great. I picked up a whole slab to go and they were actually heavy to carry. Delicious, and so were the beans. Worth the trip.

Stopped in while traveling through KC and was not disappointed. Tried the ribs, beef, sliced pork and burnt ends. The burnt ends were ok but not my favorite. The sliced pork and ribs were fabulous with the sweet and spicy sauce. Just a 1/4 mile off the interstate it is worth stopping in if you enjoy good BBQ.

If you're looking for KC BBQ in an atmosphere similar to what you're used to at your hometown Chili's, Applebee's, or even your favorite chain BBQ joint, this isn't the best place for you. If you want authentic KC BBQ, done the way it's been done for years, without all the dining room frills and you don't mind a line... More

Ordered burnt ends and got a bunch of fat chopped up on a plate smothered in sauce that was lacking anything but sugar. Didn't eat more than a couple of bites and finished my meal with the tasty dill pickles and baked beans. Big let down, had heard so many good things...

We used to love this place. Aurthur Bryant's seriously broke my heart when we ate here Tuesday 6/24/2014 at 12:30 pm for lunch. The food was so bad I spit out the first piece it was completely inedible and tasted horrible. The burnt ends we were served was just a pile of fat covered in sauce that tasted terrible. There...
