Damn! This is some great food at cheap prices. I had just drove by this place on my way to Joe's BBQ and I figured I'd give this place a try. The portions are HUGE and the food is DELICOUS! I am so glad I stopped at this little place to give it a try. How it is the 140th... More

getting in at 10am local time helps to wait before having the delicious food and after 45 minutes of walking and looking around at the exhibit down the road gave my family and I some time to sample and take with us some ham, turkey, sausage, pulled pork and pork ends with us to eat later. A plate of fries... More

Huge portions at really reasonable prices. I ordered the open face burnt ends which was great. I was able to also try the ham sandwich and a sausage/turkey combo, both of which were amazing. Beer on tap is always a plus. Also tons of parking, and sick photos of celebs on the walls.

The BBQ is good, but not as good as LC's. We went for the ribs and slice sausage. I loved the sausage and the ribs were OK.

The sauce, the meat, the fries--all the same as it was decades ago. The sauce is the sauce, just the right combination of flavor and mild heat. The meat is cooked to perfect texture and taste. The fries are about the most honest you'll find, with no salt to get in the way of the just right potato. And it's... More

A must have if one is visiting Kansas City! I had the rib tip plate and it was great, the sauces are good as well. The portion size is good as well as the rib plate was enough for two people.

I'm not a big bbq fan so I wouldn't know if the food was great or not. My husband thought it was delicious. Overall I thought the cleanliness of the restaurant would be a 1 out of 10 and friendless/service a 2 out of 10. Lots of dirty tables with food on them, mop bucket with dirty water out in... More

Ate there recently with a group of fellows from out-of-town who had heard about the place. Half of the party complained about indigestion the next morning, and these are Jalapeno eating rascals. The floor was so greasy it was disgusting. There are lots of much, much better places in KC.

Went to Bryant's years ago. Had a good time then. Waited 45min. this visit and had my meal eaten by the time I got to cash register. Sauce is not something I would go out of my way for. Sort of a landmark. One star.
