the best anywhere-no, not even the best in K.C. but we've eaten there for years and will continue to. Stay away from the pork but for an old time bbq experience the beef &fries are great. The sauce is awful if you take it home but eaten "in house" you pour it on,even the fries. As for presidents eating there,that's... More

We visited during a nostalgic return to the city where we first dated and my husband insisted we go here because it was the best BBQ ever. No more. After waiting in line for longer than was warranted, we got sliced pork and pulled pork. The sliced pork was dry, overcooked to the point of being hard, and had no... More

I've loved this place since my father first took me there after one of my ball games. The original sauce is still the same now as it was then, and I couldn't drink enough grape soda then to finish the sandwich. Now I've resigned to making 2 meals out of the portions you get. I personally don't like hot foods,... More

This place is great. It may cost you $9.00 for a sandwich, but that sandwich weight more than a pound. They give you enough food to share with a love one. The best Meats anywhere the ,eat will melt in your mouth.

Somehow, we'd never been here before. long line to order, which is a good sign. The line took a while, and we were delivered our food and had to wait to pay longer than made sense. The original sauce is the best!

Great reputation, and the BBQ is very good. Not the very best I had in KC, but certainly worth the trip. Very authentic feel to the place as well.

That is what my daughter said to me after we sat down to fist high sandwiches. Yes, we drove all the way to Kansas City for BBQ - Arthur Bryant's BBQ to be exact. We were staying with family about 100 miles away and drove to eat here. If you love BBQ, you must try Arthur's, it is a Kansas... More

There may be other BBQ places in Kansas City but the best is Arthur Bryant's. The ribs are very meaty, little fat. The sauces are divinely inspired. Zero atmosphere because it doesn't need any pretension. Just the best damned barbecue on the Planet Earth. In heaven may they serve Arthur Bryant's ribs, original sauce and red cream soda.

The portions are huge. It is wise to look at the portions and share. The brisket was very good. The ambiance was good too.

We tried the ham, sausage, burnt ends, ribs, potato salad, Cole slaw and baked beans. The ribs had no smoke flavor very bland kinda tough. The burnt ends some were tough but the ones that weren't were good. The sausage was decent. The beans were good. There are many more places that are better than here.
