Kansas City has a lot of wonderful BBQ places, but Jack Stack is definitely a favorite. They have the most delicious sauces and meats, good side dishes, fast service and the freighthouse location as unique as the other locations. Each location has a different feel to it, and this location is a great one (as well as the Plaza location).... more

It was good barbeque that I would consider as average guess I was expecting much more from a Kansas City BBQ restaurant but not really top of the line considering we have similar restaurants in Oklahoma with the same quality of food. more

I have been going here for almost 20 years! I haven't found a better BBQ place anywhere! The food and service is always good! I especially like the Poor Russ sandwich. The onion rings are really good too....but toss your diet or health concerns when you eat them!! more
