Obviously one visit to a restaurant doesn't give enough context, but in this one visit I found it to be pretty good and it lives up to its intention of being a casual place to hang out for a drink and a bite. The dishes are creative and the wine prices aren't exorbitant. We had a bottle of Mike Dashe's... More

Upon arriving at Gram & Dun, I was hopeful that the experience would live up to the beautiful atmosphere. The dining room is incredibly elegant, but still inviting and comfortable...descriptions that also fit the food. From the appetizer (Asian pig wings...wow, just wow) to perfectly prepared and creative entrees (looking at you, jumbo scallops) and just right dessert offerings with... More

Dined on the patio. A delicious dinner and exceptional service. Our waiter Dave G, knew the menu inside and out. Gave us wonderful recommendations and we joked that he knew how many grains of salt are added to the food. The pig wings and shrimp & grits were excellent. My favorite was the chocolate cayenne ice cream.

You know that feeling when you have a great restaurant experience and are almost afraid to return because on the second visit you realize it is not as good as you thought. Well, no worries here. We ate here for the first time in June and loved it. When I returned to KC in August, I tried a return visit.... More

I was on business in Kansas City and this restaurant was recommended by the locals. It was one of the best meals I've ever had! The food was so good!! I had a salad that had hearts of palm and other ingredients (can't remember the name) and the salad was fresh tasting and delicious. I had the Jumbo scallops served... More

"Burnt ends mac and cheese" I do not have to say any more. My wife had the Buffalo Stroganoff. Mine was better.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. It was a great night-life environment especially. The service was good. We ordered french fries fried in duck fat for an appetizer and they were very tasty. I then ordered the wild boar for a main dish. It was flavorful, but very tough. I was expecting it to be a little more... More
