Description: Gram & Dun brings culinarily-driven fare, while paying special attention...
Gram & Dun brings culinarily-driven fare, while paying special attention to pairing food with libations. It's a place "for the people" where we can relax and enjoy the neighborhood vibe while we test theories of food, drink and the evolution of good times. Our local owners and staff bring a unique, modern environment to this ideal Plaza location where we have revived the best patio in town, making Gram & Dun an enticing landmark for locals and visitors alike. In addition, Gram & Dun honors the traditional by bringing revered dishes to the forefront and adding our own special touch, and welcomes seasonality by adjusting to the natural changes our tastes succumb to as the year progresses, all in an effort to provide the best to patrons with exquisite taste. Great staff and location

Our annual girls trip led us to KC, shopping in the Plaza and taking a break for cocktails on the beautiful patio. We got very lucky and were seated immediately. It is such a great location for people watching. The Basil Smash was fabulous as were our wait staff. Great atmosphere inside and out.

Stopped in for lunch with a coworker. The burger and creamed brussels sprouts were AMAZING. We both had the burger with different sides and were both equally impressed. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

We had Tara this weekend as our server. Shew was fantastic. So friendly and fun to talk to. The food was also DELICIOUS. Asian pig wings sound weird but were great. I had the burnt end Mac and Cheese and my mom had the shrimp and grits. I will be going again when I visit Kansas City again in September!

Dinner out with the girls! All 7 of us! The waiter was very attentive and quite a talker. He did not leave one detail out...it was hard to hear him, with such a large table, but he was more than willing to repeat. We had the Beef Fat Fries and oysters for appies... the oysters were very good! Beef Fat... More

The food we had was delicious! We attended lunch, had the burnt end mac n cheese, skirt steak, we each had a salad and one cocktail. The service was great, we sat outside and everything was lovely. Did feel it was a little pricey for what we got, but overall very good.

The service here is outstanding. They have a good menu with selections for everyone. The burnt end mac and cheese came highly recommended and was good, but I would have liked more burnt ends.

We enjoyed a bit of goodness at Gram & Dun located within KC's Plaza on one recent Monday evening. The beer selections were interesting, different and good. We particularly liked the Boulevard drafts. Olive bread ($7) is served warm and crusty with a whipped, smokey-flavored butter. Our attentive and vivacious server, Lindsay recommended a goat cheese green salad with maple... More

If you find yourself visiting The Plaza area, which is a destination for many out of town visitors, consider bypassing the very tourist-y KC strip steak houses like Plaza III, Ruth's Christ Steak House, the Capitol Grill, or Morton's, and dine instead at Gram & Dun. Our family recently celebrated my son's graduation w. a Sat. mid-afternoon brunch-ish meal. It... More

I went to Gram & Dun yesterday for a Birthday dinner, and was very surprised! I was looking for something unique around the Plaza, and made reservations here. I was seated earlier then expected! The service was amazing, they kept the water refilled, and brought food at an orderly fashion. I highly recommend the Asian Pig Wings as an appetizer.... More

You might have to wait for a table, but it is worth it. Great menus selection. BBQ ends and mac and cheese was my choice and it was excellent.
