Unique eating experience. You can look at it as the most expensive buffet you ever ate at, or, you can look at it as an all you can eat of some very fine food. I will go back again that is for sure.

Fogo is our favorite place to eat in KC! So much so in fact, that when my parents came into town for Thanksgiving we took them there and we were not disappointed. Aside from the truly delicious cuts of meat, they also served the traditional turkey, potatoes, etc Thanksgiving meal. First off, be prepared to eat and eat and a... More

Very expensive and not worth it. All the meat tastes charred and salad bar fixings were bitter. Most of the clientele were men (not surprising). Will not go back.

I have dined at some of this chain's other restaurants, and the Kansas City location disappointed. On a Thursday night, entertaining a client, the wait staff was "robotic". Our server proceeded to rattle off a 2+ minute statement of the restaurant's offerings in such a cold an unappealing manner, that my guests commented about the harshness afterwards. I don't think... The quality of the meat is pretty high, dinner has most option any rodizio should have. The price is, unfortunately, what it costs to eat like this in the US. Salad bar was pretty good, but not spectacular. Service was great, as is mandatory with this kinda place. Bottom line is: If you have never had it: try it, its... More

For those not familiar, this is a classic southern Brazilian steak house. For a flat rate, you get access to their all you can eat salad bar and 16 different kinds of grilled meat, covering anything from lamb, and pork, to the classic Brazilian Beef preparations. The meat is brought around the dining room on long skewers by gauchos who... More

Lunch is the best value as its much cheaper and you dont feel like you have to eat 4 lbs of meat to get your moneys worth. Salad bar is excellent as is wait staff.

At $50 a person, the meats should have been truly exceptional and I didn't feel like there were many choices at the salad bar. I had been to Em Chama's in Kansas City a few times before Fogo's and I'd say Em Chama's is better and a LOT cheaper. Their salad bar has a lot of sides to pair with... More

My sister first took me to the Fogo de Chao in San Antonio, TX. Ever since, every time I'm in US, I just have to go to one of their restaurants. Last time we were there, we had a group of over 10 people, all well accommodated. Superb meat quality and selection, the salad bar was good too. I never... More
