Tapas were all delicious and beautifully presented. Wines were good and the staff was accomadating to our large group, which included three young children.

We went during restaurant week to celebrate birthdays. Having never tried Spanish tapas before, the waiter was very patient with all my questions. The food was excellent and the drinks were good. Also enjoyed the atmosphere and the music. It felt like we were in Europe, not a sports bar or chain restaurant, which is what I am accustomed to living...

In April 2013 I went on a road trip with my sister to KC mainly for the BBQ & Jazz. After doing the tour of Boulevard Brewing Co., we stopped at nearby La Bodega for their happy hour which starts at 2PM. We shared a pitcher of Sangria & 3 half price tapas for our late lunch. We tried the...

Quality of food fluctuates from visit to visit. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's average but not worth the price. Service quality has been average or worse in all my visits.
I loved this place, mainly because it has gluten free tapas! And they were truly gluten free (no subsequent poblems!) and delicious. My husband was less thrilled, but he gets to have tasty GF food all the time. I was thrilled, and look forward to going back next trip. Wish they would open a branch in Tulsa!
Great food, Great friendly staff, great atmosphere! Love the seared ahi tuna, but all the dishes are delicious. Whenever I have friends from out of town, I make sure I bring them here.
Having visited Spain last summer, and loved all the great tapa bars/restaurants. We happened to be in downtown Kansas City on a Saturday afternoon and decided to stop in for lunch.
We absolutely enjoyed the food with the help of Zach, our friendly waiter.
He explained all the tapas in a fun, excited way, making it all sound so great....

Small plates are delicious. The space is very interesting. Absolutely love the Chianti--must have my husband drive if we ever dine here--which we do on our anniversary.
The atmosphere and the tapas of this place reminded us Spain. We loved the rosy colored walls and the mosaic tiles on the bar. Some items on the menu were definitely similar to those you would find in Spain, others were with a twist. In either case, all the dishes we ordered were delicious.
Great food, variety, and a great staff. And a fun way to eat. Go with friends and share the joy. A bit loud however. Ask for the table far rear.
