We went for happy hour and ordered a pitcher of sangria, only $15, and five or six tapas including a dessert. What a bargain! My personal favorite was the calamari which was almost a meal unto itself. All at half price. You can spend much more for dinner but it may well not be as good. Service was aces as... More

La Bodega has been a longtime staple in KC restaurants, and I was recently reminded why. The tapas and sangria are consistently good and the atmosphere is great. But it's the service that always brings me back. I actually went to two different birthday meals at La Bodega in the last week, one at each location. Enjoyed both a lot.... More

Hubby and I came here after our plane landed for a date night before returning home. We lucked out and found a parking space along the road right in front of the restaurant. The staff was welcoming and there were lots of good options on the menu. We tried a bit of everything, and found the prices to be very... More

This restaurant is amazing. Lots of vegetarian options. Flaming coffee presentation is fun and & worth the cost. Highest regards to the staff and service here. Keep up the great work!

Their happy hour half-price tapas make this a place we visit frequently. Great food and great atmosphere.

If you like paella, tapas and red or white sangria, you're in for a great meal ! Oh, and I forgot the dessert (which is to die for-better yet take it home and be careful of the chocolate..it's addictive). I need not say anymore. The food is fresh, seasoned appropriately and delicious. I suggest you order several different tapas, share... More

My wife and son went with two friends to La Bodega on their Saturday afternoon 2p - 6p Happy Hour. Many of their outstanding tapas items were 1/2 priced and they had cold Modelo Especial cerveza (beer) for $3 each. My wife and her friend both drank Sangrias and agreed it was some of the best they have had. We... More

Found this restaurant through my AAA TourBook and it seemed to be the perfect place for a refreshing drink and light meal (i.e., tapas small plates) on a hot sultry evening in Kansas City. I had spent the day touring Truman's home and museum in Independence, and wanted someplace casual where I could relax enjoy a good meal. I was... More

We went for our first time during lunch, we ordered the garlic shrimp tapas (comes with 6 shrimp), chicken skewers (3 small skewers), and meatballs (3). Each dish was $8-$12. What was nice is food comes out quickly but our tab for still not being full was $36 for two of us, which is just too over priced for us.... More
