Quality tapas in a convivial setting.

This enjoyable tapas restaurant lies in the shadow of I-35 on Southwest Blvd - there is 2 hr free parking underneath the Interstate. The 'flat-iron' interior is reasonably authentic: bright decor, a large, jolly mural, and several round tables with inset marble patterning. We found our food to... read more

Stopping in for a couple of drinks to finish the night up.... one of my favorite night cap cocktail drink is their Mexican coffee! Taste great and provides a little entertainment watching them prepare this drink. Enjoy!

I have now tried both La Bodegas in Kansas City and have had a great meal at each. The food and service are spectacular and the food is served Spanish style with tapas arriving at the table as soon as they come out of the kitchen. The paella is so tasty and as someone who has lived in Spain, I... More

We were really looking forward to eating here, wish we wouldn't have. Nice service great wait staff, cool atmosphere, food was under seasoned, not one thing we ate was something that I would remember.Worst of all, the manager was ripping on the kitchen staff in front of all of the tables on the patio, then tried to play the nice... My wife and I visited La Bodega for her birthday. We did not order off the main lunch menu, rather we focused our attention and energy on the tapas...which did not disappoint. We had five different dishes and each items was something new and something delicious. I especially loved the short ribs, while my wife loved the pulled pork. We... More

I have friends that LOVE La Bodega - yes it is good but for the price I have other favorites. The food was good, tapa, more of a wine bar to me. The couple of times I've eaten at La Bodega it's mostly women enjoying drinks and sharing a couple of tapa. If you want dinner try some place else.... More

La Bodega has a really great variety to choose from. We found the numerous small plate offerings to be wonderful. We stay for almost 3 hours and a very enjoyable evening. A very unique experience but we can't wait to go back.

In Kansas City for business, I decided to get away from steak and burgers and I am very glad I did. La Bodega have a great selection of classic Spanish tapas, some with their own variation, but having tried various dishes, I came away very satisfied. Great buzz around the place and Kristi, my waitress was very friendly and efficient.... More

Went to La Bodega on a Saturday afternoon. They were having half price drinks in the afternoon. The tapas are delicious and you can tell they are fresh. It was a nice relaxing place to share with friends. The prices are very reasonable. Enjoyed it very much.
