Sadly, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kansas City. I say sadly, because this is nowhere near authentic Mexican food - it is cheesy, guilty tex-mex all the way. First off, for a place called "margaritas" their margaritas SUCKED. I've had much better at houlihans. The limes they put on the sides of the glasses?? This has been our family favorite since the early 90's. Simple but well executed Mexican food. Add to that the excellent chips and a flavorful salsa you will want to drink! Good margarita's and a cozy "Cheers"-like ambiance makes us always feel at home. Try the tacos and tamales. For us, Margarita's is THE primo Mexican on "The Boulevard"! more
