Great Fancy Date Spot

If you're looking for an upscale restaurant to dress up for date night, Bristol is it! The food is fantastic- there's something for everyone, but it is fish heavy.

Had a late lunch on Friday. I had salmon and it was excellent. My guest had crab cakes and commented on how good it was. Finished off with carrot cake that we shared. The service was excellent. We will definitely go again.

The Bristol is one of my very favorite places to go for brunch! The buffet is fantastic - everything your heart desires from egg dishes, raw seafood (amazing oysters!), a variety of fish, meat, and egg dishes and of course your usual breakfast fare. And they bring freshly made waffles to your table with a variety of syrups. Coffee is great... More

We ate dinner here with another couple and everything we ordered was delicious -- from the Blue Point oysters to the salmon to the bluenose to the bisque. The service was fast and it was a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Kansas City is know for it's steak-- so I was hesitant about seafood. No worries- this place kicked it! Great cocktails, oysters (ate about 2 dozen), wonderful seafood entries. Very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive staff. Excellent ambiance and décor. Highly recommended!

We typically truly enjoy the Bristol (see earlier in the year review) and like to go there for a nice evening out. We wanted to take my mother and oldest son for their birthdays (my mother had never been) as typically the service and food are very good. We made reservations for 6 people. We were promptly seated in a... More

We had a great meal here on a busy Tuesday night. A number of people were likely headed to a concert as we were. I had salmon and others had various seafood dishes. I especially liked the Caesar's Salad. The carrot cake for desert is to die for! One serving will easily do 2 people and more. Our seats were... More

We arrived with our crew of six for our 11 o'clock reservation for Sunday brunch. The valet was ready and waiting and We were immediately ushered to our table that we had reserved. The service that we received was impeccable and the food bar was off the charts something for everyone in our group of six. We have picky eaters,... More

The Bristol has always been a great part of the Kansas City restaurant scene, but a recent experience was quite disappointing. After watching a KU basketball game at Sprint Center, we walked across the street for dinner at Bristol. Busy, but not crazy, it nonetheless took 15-20 minutes for a waiter to arrive at our table. He took our drink... More

Hubby and I stayed the night so he could pick up something the next am. Bristol was on our list of restaurants to try. I'll tell you now?... We WILL be back! I ordered the Mixed Seafood Grill which consisted of shrimp, salmon, a couple of scallops and crab cake (which is more like lumped crab vs. the breaded stuff... More
