Three times and great each time!

We have dined three times at Bristol Seafood Grill in the Power and Light District in KC the last few months. I enjoyed the mixed seafood grill twice and the lobster mac and cheese as a meal once. Service is very good, food is excellent, bar and wine service great and the prices are fair for what... read more

Party of four for brunch. Have been here before for brunch. Expected more. Nothing really stood out as outstanding in the food department. Lobster mac and cheese was very good and creamy. Shrimp enchiladas were spicy and had good texture. Seared tuna good. Scallop salad good. Probably the mini creme brulee cups were the best thing of the morning. Service... More

I came ready to be disappointed. Well, THAT didn't happen! I was delighted. Except for the slightly manic waiter that made me a bit edgy, everything was excellent. I had a very nice Copper River Salmon. Perfectly cooked for me. I had my nose in the air being from Seattle. It was knocked down a bit. My friend had a... More

Was headed to the 801 Steakhouse for lunch and found out it didn't open until 4 PM. Since we valet parked in front of the Bristol, we decided to give it a try. Had the mini lobster rolls and shrimp and grits. The lobster rolls had very little lobster, compared to the bread. Maybe one small fork full per roll.... More

The service was great as usual, and the sockeye salmon and halibut were both amazing. The acoustic guitar performance on Friday nights adds a special touch.

The wife and I had a wonderful dinner at the Bristol. The atmosphere was nice along with a guy singing and playing a guitar. You can hold a conversation since the music is not overbearing. The food was very delicious and tasty. I had the Surf & Turf and I chose the Lump Crab Cake. My wife had Halibut and... More

Near the end of a conference trip to Kansas City, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Bristol Seafood Grill. We started our meal with a very interesting smoked salmon flatbread, and then both of us had the arctic char special. My wife complemented her char with parmesan roasted yukon gold potatoes and I had fingerling potatoes... More

Food was good, though the lobster mac and cheese was nothing special and seemed to have very little trace of lobster. Waiters were much to chummy for the atmosphere of the restaurant.

We were literally the last guests to arrive before the doors closed and we feared we would receive subpar service. Boy, were we wrong on many levels. Our waiter was attentive, cheerful and really good to us. The food was equally delectable too. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were good. We really didnt have much to complain.

Although I eat here often for dinner, I had only heard about brunch. Pricey but it is fine dining with great service so worth every penny. Ham and oysters. omelets and sushi Waffles and cheesy rolls. OJ and bloody Mary bar. Nice unrushed service and coffee. Next time I am off on Sunday a must to start the day. Will... More
