Stopped here for lunch mid week and enjoyed the strip steak with mashed potatoes and salad. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our group of 6 was escorted downstairs to a private dining room surrounding with wine racks, intricate wood panelling and artwork. Wait staff was attentive and even gave us a 10 minute history lesson Union Station and even what the... More

We stopped in on a whim for a drink while checking out Union Station in the evening. I was very impressed - the bar tenders were extremely knowledgeable on whiskey and beer, incredibly friendly and helpful with sites to see. The old world atmosphere and ambiance was so refreshing in a world of slick modern everything.

This is an upscale restaurant with dark paneling in the old style of a traditional steakhouse located in Union Station. The decor and atmosphere are elegant and refined. I am reluctant to only give 3 stars, but based on my last visit that's all I can do. The 8 oz Kansas City strip steak on their lounge menu was very... More

My sister and I ate here on a trip to Kansas city. The filet mignon was out of this world. Perfect. The service was very attentive. Plus the room was just old world and so beautiful. Highly recommend this restaurant

Great restaurant and excellent attention from our waiter (unfortunately don't remember her name, but she was a nice blonde lady on 10/26/14) Although we arrived just before they closed at night for dinner, the attention and dedication was supreme for the service we received. High recommended!

Great service and ambiance. Really cool bar, kind of wish I opted to sit there instead of a table. Ordered a three course meal consisting of the crab cake, 8oz steak, and ginger cake for dessert. Crab cake was good, but quite small. The steak was very good with an interesting spicy/sweet rub. The ginger cake was perfect for rounding... More

We did not eat in the restaurant only had cocktails and an appetizer in the bar. But, wow, what a gorgeous place in the old Union Station in KC. Service and atmosphere was top-notch. Cocktails and apps were very good, as well. Love Kansas City!

We ate in the Bar area two days in a row because we attended the Union Station Centennial Celebration. The first day we sat at the bar and had drinks and the Calamari appetizer. The second day we sat at a table with friends in the Bar area and ordered from the Lunch menu. Both couples ordered fish and chips... More

A beautifully appointed restaurant that features lots of dark wood and art deco in the historic and magnificent Union Station. Excellent wine and cocktail menu that conjures up Kansas City jazz age. I recommend the walnut and pear salad and the filet mignon Pierpont. Be sure to save room for one of their fantastic desserts.
