This is my favorite place to eat in Joplin! The menu offers a wide variety of entrees, and they are all amazing. You can't go wrong at the Red Onion!

One of the best restaurants in Joplin for lunch or dinner. The French Onion Soup is superb and don't forget to try the Cucumber Dip.

The ambiance is great! The good is excellent! The price is on the upper end. I have never heard anyone complain about the Red Onion.

I like to try local restaurants when I travel. In Joplin this is a must stop..it is in an older part of town but there is plenty of parking. We were seated promptly on a Tuesday night. Our waitress was very friendly and perky. She recommended her favorites when asked. The smoked chicken pasta is a good choice. We had... More

I never eat in Joplin but we found ourself down here so we checked out trip advisor for some restaurant choices. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Everything we had was fresh and while lunch took a little longer than expected, the service was wonderful and friendly. If I'm ever back here I will eat here again!

This great little cafe has some enjoyable unique dishes with a couple of oldies but goodies that is a sure thing for everyone in the family. They were even accommodating when I asked to have a cinnamon-sugar rimmed specialty beer.

Service from Brittany was meticulous. Grilled chicken salad with house dressing was very good, if you like dressing on the sweet side. French onion soup was excellent, great beef flavor. Best was the smoked chicken dip appetizer.

We always make a stop here on our way to Kansas City from Arkansas. They make the best desserts. We always make the stop at lunchtime, so I have never tried the dinner menu. The lunch items are very similar to the dinner, but in a much smaller portion. But the price is also adjusted accordingly too. Save room for... More
