I would like to recommend their oven roasted pizzas. My favorite is the feta. Fun atmosphere with the cell bars. There is a downstairs available to rent out and a smaller room in the corner that's perfect for a large family.,

Has more of a neighborhood feel than the chain restaurants. The food is very good, and they have a great varitey of beers. Only negative thing is the location. Kind of scary after dark.
Our first stop upon landing in Jeff City. Sat in a jail cell booth. Our waiter was very efficient, friendly and informative. We got started out with a couple beers from the list. A Brown and an IPA. Both very good. Very easy drinking. Next we were served the onoin rings. They are a must. The beer batter coating is...

Friends took us to brunch the other weekend. I had the crabcake benedict that came with fresh fruit and a Bloody Mary. My husband had the country fried steak (I actually tried it because it did look good, normally I don’t touch that particular favorite of his). Pretty solid drink and the food was good, especially since they just started...

The food was very good, the service was outstanding. The craft beers they make and serve were all very good. Highly recommended!
I had heard a lot about Prison Brew. The food was okay but nothing extra. The service was marginal. A lot of noise so if you are wanting a evening where you can sit and eat and talk this is not the place to do it. Overall I was disappointed and do not have any plans to go back here.
My husband and I stopped here for lunch during a weekend getaway and we loved it. The food was great, my husband really liked the beer he tried, and our service was quick and friendly. We will definitely go back.
A really unique idea on the inside for a microbrewery where the decor' is one that is decorated with prison bars. They have a small microbrewery that have some great flavors. They also have domestic beers too. Their food is of a fair selection and the atmosphere is one that accepts a family style dining experience. Their fire brick oven...

Interesting decor, you eat in cubbies resembling jail cells. Casual pub atmosphere with a good selection of hand crafted beers and pub grub food. Wood fired pizza looked great, hamburgers were overcooked, but came in a variety of favors. Prices are reasonable. A good place to grab a quick filling meal.
We ordered pickles, nachos, & pizza and it was all wonderful. The service was a little slow but this place was packed! We tried a few different kind of beers. They all have a good flavor but were flat, so it was like drinking beer flavored water. I recommend the honey wheat. The live band was excellent.
