Came here today, very quiet Saturday at 12:30. Still waiting after 20 mins for 2 sandwiches. They are in no hurry at all. Walls are all dented as are the tables. Final we asked for our sandwiches to go....wish we had gone to Kate and Ally's.....

The food is good the coffee is better. There's usually a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches. The prices are very reasonable. It's handy to the capitol. Nice friendly people.

My problem isn't with the food. It's with the way management treats people. Absolutely horrendous!! The woman is less than respectful, interrupted me several times, AND yelled at me for trying to apologize for a service miscommunication. I will NEVER give this establishment my business again, and I beg of you to do the same.

Check this place out, the food is amazing. I heard the owner was a trained chef, I honestly have no idea but his food is AMAZING, oh yeah the coffee is good too.

Stopped in by looking to pass the time before a meeting at the State office building. The staff and owner Audrey could not have been more Welcoming. Had the Love Potion #9 which is a dark chocolate, cherry and almond flavored coffee. It was excellent! So good it did not need cream or sugar. Was so impressed with the place... More

I have worked in JC for years and had heard nice things about CVR but had never stopped in until today. I ordered the Cobb salad and my husband ordered 1/2 of a muffaletta and 1/2 of the Vesuvio salad. We were both very happy with our choices. The quality was excellent and the quantity was enough to fill you... More

This little street cafe has tables outside for the summer and a wide variety of different coffees and teas. The baked goods are usually quite tasty, and the sandwiches at lunch are very filling. It is a good place to grab a quick snack downtown.

This is a very unique cafe. They have just about everything you would want in a coffee house/cafe. Their soups and sandwiches are great and their selection of coffee and tea is awesome. Everytime I come to Jeff City I make it a point to stop by.

On my lunch break while taking the bar exam I found this cafe by the Capitol. I had to get my food to go, but it was worth it. The sandwich was excellent! It was a pollo magnifico panini. The sandwich was a big portion and came piping hot. The staff from counter to Barista missed that I wanted whipped... More

It's hard to believe that Jefferson City (not exactly a Mecca for fine dining or cafe society) would be home to such a great little coffee shop, but the Cafe via Roma is a must if you care about good espresso. I come to Jefferson City on business occasionally, and discovered the via Roma while looking desperately for a macchiato.... More
