Big Ben loses time

Best service and view on the beach. Big Ben loses time on some recent changes in food preparation. Specifically the breading on fish. It is too thick and has the appearance of a commercial cookie cutter no fish just dough.. Twice this has been my experience. Lady said it was more efficient... read more

This was a very lovely place to have lunch with friends in Huanchaco. We ate on the third floor terrace where we enjoyed views of the beach and ocean and listened to 60's orchestral pop all the while trying to guess the names of the tunes. The service was top notch: friendly, enthusiastic and efficient. The food was delicious, very... More

Big Ben has a good name and deserves it!! Cleanest cebiche I ever tried in Peru. The location is great, is not in front of a street, just sand and the ocean---I recomend you to start with a Crashed Crab, kind of soup, delicious. It was amazing experience of flavors!!

Unfortunately Big Ben only serves lunch and no dinner! From upstairs you can see the ocean and feel a nice breeze. My lomo saltado was good but not out of this world, same goes for the frozen limonada we had aside. Probably the best restaurant at the beach!

Above the 60's surfer vibe that resonates throughout Huanchaco is a retreat of great food; great drinks; and incredible views of the beach below. The sun keeps you warm. The food keeps you happy. The wait staff keeps you feeling special and the steady stream of special diners( engagement/ birthday/ etc) keeps you in the celebratory mood!

What a glorious restaurant! Please don't miss it if you are anywhere near this fishing and surfing location. We eat the best Cerviche I have ever tasted along with a mind blowing Pisco Sour. The hygiene is second to none, the waiters have a great command of English and the owner and his son, super friendly. As professional as any... More

This restaurant is located right in front of the beach and sea and has a great view. The prices are a bit expensive, but the food and service are very good. It is too bad that they are not open in the evening.

We came here with our organised tour. The location was lovely, but we were disappointed with the food. The causa had tinned tuna, the seabass I chose came with tinned mushrooms and asparagus and rather gloopy sauce. The peaches for dessert were also tinned, though the ice cream was good.

Excellent seafood restaurant, one of the best cebiches from Peru. Great views of the beach and the Huanchaco Pier. the atmosphere was great, with some tables in the terrace. Excellent service too. Quite expensive, however it worth’s it.

excellent, best ceviche ever, best chaufa de mariscos ever, the 5 items cool plate is the supreme dish, and the view to Huanchaco is unique, wonderful. The service is also very good, and the maracuya sour is the best of the best. Yummy.
