For of us walked in looking for excellent chiles relleno. We were not disappointed. First, we arrived at about 6:00, and though it was a major festival weekend, we got a great table indoors. (By the time we left 90 minutes later, the whole place -- including the outdoor tables -- were full). Decent wine list; the Chilean chardonnay we... More

So quotes my wife, last night, after taking one bite of the great shrimp fajitas served at Sayulita Cafe. A busy little restaurant with the tables in the street and nice attentive service. A street show of fire batons flying through the air and just terrific food. I had the Carne Asada. Both dishes came with quacomole, rice and beans,... More

Be careful! Although the service was outstanding, 3 of the 4 in our party became ill with serious food poisoning after eating beef and chicken fajitas. I had a delicious chile rellano queso and did not get sick.

Yummy Carne Asada! The food is delicious and the menu is extensive. Took a while to get a table but worth the wait. Would recommend for sure.

Walked into this cafe by chance. The best Mexican dinner of the whole trip so far, 8 days and counting. I had the Chile Relleno absolutely the best I've ever had. My wife had chicken soup with a cactus salad which she also said was second to non. The third dish was the barbecued chicken for our daughter who is... More

We have dined at this place before, and were excited to go back for a second dinner. It again, was fabulous. This time, we shared the Lobster for Two, and it was divine. Huge by non-Maine standards and for Mexico, this was a big plate of yummy. We cracked and sucked our way to Nirvana. Along with this, we shared... More

My husband I recently ate at this restaurant. We were the only table in the restaurant at that point in time. We both ordered orange juice and my husband ordered the fruit plate while I ordered the fish tacos. Our orange juice was obviously freshly pressed and took a long time to arrive. Our food came quite a bit later... More

We've enjoyed eating here for 10 years and tonight was a shocking disappointment. I love the seafood stuffed pineapple, which oddly is only on the Spanish menu. When I requested it, the waiter said yes he could get it for me, I had to specifically ask him to bring the Spanish menu so I could see the description and price... More

Last night I had dinner at a restaurant across the street from the Sayulita Cafe. The restaurant I chose was virtually empty. As I sat at my table, I looked across the street at Sayulita Cafe and saw a full restaurant. Hmmm. I wonder why the restaurant across the street is full and the restaurant I chose is almost empty....
