I went to Sayulita w/ my wife and 2 of our friends. On a whim when we got to a T intersection @ the road and we chose to go right and that's where we came across Mangiafuoco. I lived in Italy for 2 years and am very particular about my Italian food because of that. Marco (Owner) right off... More

We ate here on Sat March 1st and we enjoyed our appetizer of cheese and meat. My husband then had pasta with sausage in a tasty sauce, decent potion. But I was dissapointed with the pasta and seafood plate ... the sauce was bland and there were small pieces of mussell shell integrated in the pasta. One of these pieces... More

Was very surprised to find such good Italian, live music and wine in a this small town. It was a perfect meal, service and experience. Go here and eat beautiful, fresh pizza!

Sayulita is not Rome. However, the charming garden setting, the authentic sauces, risotto, homemade pasta and wood fired pizzas will have you dreaming of Italy. We have been coming to Sayulita for the winter for 7 years. Mangiafuoco is a favorite, it is romantic and good for families. There is a european/Mexican vibe that offers something different here. Yes, Marco... More

Very authentic fresh food.. a great reprieve after two weeks of heavy Mexican fare:-). The owner is from Italy and settled in Sayulita because he fell in love with a Mexican woman. Their little girl Laura runs around in a pretty dress entertaining the guests.

the food was just OK, nothing to rave about. this is not the italian experience that i was expecting. i mean, you expect, a nice atmosphere, not paper napkins and only ONE waiter for 12 tables?? ridiculous!! i've had better italian and doesn't deserve the rating in Sayulita. It's overpriced for the quality. Period.

We were not sure what to find....but the pizza and the tiramisu were delicious! True Italian pizza, wood burning oven and homemade fresh pasta done with the best Italian ingredients... Marco the owner very professional and of course very Italian ! We will be back for sure!

Our party of 12 was well received by the owner and our server for the evening. 12 different orders all enjoyed immensely. The restaurant is not much to look at but the chef is very good and food excellent. Walk through town on Ave. Revolution, past the square up the street past Rollie's and it is on your right.

This is my 4th trip to Sayulita and this restaurant is unbelievable!!! Off the beaten path, you will find so much pride in your food / dining experience. Marco, the owner, is such a sweet and knowledgeable person. I watched the chefs making the pasta and cheeses with such passion and joy, that is simply made our dining experience so... More
