Description: This restaurant is just off the square in downtown Sayulita. It is an absolutely great and unusual place to have breakfast, a local secret that could be enjoyed by all travelers. The food is extremely well thought out, and unusual, and among the best breakfasts I have had anywhere in the world and I travel the world. It is run by two expat school teachers who make you feel so at home and they sing and have children draw and put up their work, announce it even, and at the end of breakfast offer everyone a free pancake. i never really liked the food here, but service and Rollie himself was unique. He is a charming educated man with a huge heart and i will miss his warm and hospitality.

We love to start our Sayulita vacation with Rollie's warm welcome and wonderful breakfasts. Jeannie's Benedict is THE best eggs Bennie ever and the Mexfit omelet is a delicious healthy choice. We never need lunch after a visit to Rollie's. Be sure to pick up the delightful children's book- "The Day Something Strange Happened in Sayulita" to take home as... More

We had brunch at Rollies. It was very tasty, plentiful and the service was great. The place was very clean and we had a nice chat with Rollie, who came to our table to greet us.

Rollie give individual attention to every guest and especially the kidos. They all love the hotcakes! We've tried every dish and The Natural is always our favorite. They're the best chilaquiles we've had anywhere. We love the hotcakes/pancakes too.

Although owned by retired gringos, all the staff is local. This is improtant to me and to Rollie himself... The breakfasts here are just great. Really interesting and full menu choices, fresh ingredients, big portions. And then there's Rollie himself, who makes the rounds, greets and talks to everyone, sometimes sings (yes), and yes- offers you a complimentary pancake at... More

We went to Rollie's several times for breakfast, and the pioneer pancakes, breakfast burritos, eggs, etc. were all delicious. The coffee was flavorful and I loved my cappuccino! The clincher, though, was that we were with a very active 2 year old. Rollie and his wife produced a high chair, crayons and something to draw on right away, followed soon... More

Rollie makes the place & breakfast is fantastic! Where else would you be offered a complimentary pancake after a full breakfast?!

We have been staying for vacations in San Pancho for years now, and no visit would be complete without breakfast at Rollie's, not once, but several times during our stay. It is worth the drive every time. The smoothies are exceptional, pancakes amazing, and creative egg dishes. Rollie and Jeannie make the place, however, as the most gracious restauranteurs around.... While strolling in the streets of Sayulita, noticed this little restaurant and decided to go in to get some lunch. We were told by the owner that they usually do breakfast, but they could "make us a little something". She then went on to tell us they could make a variety of things for lunch .... whatever we would like... More

Super sized breakfast --really brunch-- is the attraction here. Plus the showman glow of Rollie and his charming wife, Jeannie. The pancakes are whisper-soft. Eggs are full of flavor, the way they used to be. The bacon is fragrant and crisp. The OJ is fresh. And so it goes. And then there's Rollie, an oversized personality you will be fortunate... More
