Best meal we had

We went here based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. Definitely the most expensive meal we had while in Sayulita but worth the $$. We arrived about 6:15 and were the only customers the entire we were there. Seemed a bit odd. It was a Thursday evening but maybe it was a bit early. My husband... read more

Open air courtyard with wonderful service but the food was very average. The salad was not fresh and was soggy with dressing - stay away from salad and stick to main courses.

Lots of great things about this place! The staff is friendly and attentive. Big shout out to Omar. The food and drinks were excellent. I had the pork tenderloin and my husband had the steak. Good size portions. Unfortunately too full to try dessert. The location is fantastic - off the main road so away from all the noise. The... More

Here's a restaurant that offers a unique patio dining off street (a nice break from the noise & crowds) large tables for big family groups and the food is consistently great whether you are dining on Mahi Mahi or Lamb. Traditional cooking with quality fresh ingredients. In a spectacular setting off the plaza 1 block close but almost a hideaway.... More

Just had a great meal at Los Afortunados. BIG shrimp with a nice sauce, very tasty and priced right. The green apple slices were a nice idea, too. For sure I will go again soon.

We loved our dinner here. The garden setting is lovely - nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the plaza and roadside tables. Service was attentive and helpful, always on point, never rushed. And the food was fantastic. We had a mixed platter for two - arranchera, mahi mahi, shrimp, chorizo, chile rellenos, vegetables, salad - all... More

This place is fantastic and the owner Greg and his staff are amazing! We had a welcome dinner here before our wedding and it was the perfect way to start the weekend! Greg and his staff were so quick to reply and work to accommodate our group. The food is great, drinks are strong and service is top notch! I... More

First, this has got to be one of the nicest ambiance restaurants in town. Go in the evening just before it gets dark and the lights over the courtyard are gorgeous. The music is a bit sporadic in type, with some romantic flamenco, then an odd interruption of 70's something. But this did not take away from a wonderful environment.... More

It comes with 4 different types of meat (all delicious) and sides of your choice. Each meat is done very nicely and would stand well on its own. The service is excellent and the venue is closed in and romantic (a nice change from the typical Sayulita street dining).

My wife and I honeymooned in Sayulita and wanted a memorable last meal before we left for the real world. After a week of fish tacos, ceviche and street food, we wanted something a little more elegant. After looing at various restaurants around town, we settled on Los Afortunados. Located one block off the main Plaza, it was away from... More
