Great food, great staff, great value - all the branches of John Dory's are consistently excellent and the best carryout you'll find!

Heading back to the hotel after visiting The Tuesday Bell, I called in for a few chips. It's beside a petrol station, which seems like an odd place for a chipper, but when you have the false hunger, that's not going to put you off. They do loads of deals, so your spoiled for choice, and they also deliver, but... More

Having heard so much about the Belfast branches of this chippy we were expecting great things but to be honest it is average Joe. Not bad but not outstanding either. Certainly better fish to be had elsewhere in Lisburn.

Decided we would have a carry out for tea. Went to John Dorys. Was glad we did fish well cooked and batter light and crisp, chips were well cooked and crisp. Will be going back there again as was some of the best fish and chips I've tasted.

Have ordered from here before. Quick tonight but other times been slow (prob busy) when I rang up and asked for a delivery the girl on the phone huffed (quite disappointing as I havr never received this.sort of customer service anywhere) some of the chips tasted slightly undercooked and 2 pieces of the chicken stripes were pink (surely they should... Go here a lot of Saturday nights for haddock and chips. Usually very good and big portions too. Parking can be a nightmare if you go around tea time. Leave it later if you can. If I finish work early again I think I'll try their new delivery service.

Had fish and chips from here last night (Monday 3rd Feb) and the fish was really greasy as were the chips which were also white and undercooked in my opinion. Thought it was important to put this up as other people are waxing lyrical about this place.

The food and service are second to none! we go regularly to the Carryduff branh but the Lisburn one is just as good. The chips are the best I have ever got in a chippie. Burgers and chicken goujons are always tasty and there's quite often a voucher offer on if you pick up one of their brochures in the... More

This is our "go to" place for fish and chips in Lisburn. The food is always good and the portion sizes are excellent.
