Not a thing wrong with the food in this pub. I've personally had the fish and chips, and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you have kids then upstairs is ideal and has plenty of room. Dont rule this pub out!!

Was there with a friend. The prices are great so we had a few drinks and some food. the food was good and what you would expect. But what impressed me was the staff. A fight broke out involving six police dragging a man out. The staff where fantastic and the blonde female assistant manager could not have handled the... More

I arrived there there at approximately 12:35pm. After leaving my coat at the table I went up to the bar to order the fish and a soft drink. There was a queue, which turned out to be caused by both the Credit card machines not working properly. As I was paying by cash the barman asked to take my order... More

Called in with my Mum & Sister for impromptu birthday lunch. Food was amazing, I'd a Gourmet Chicken Burger... Was delicious & very highly recommend, Mum had the same and my sister had fish & chips... Said it was the biggest fish ever... Perfectly cooked & presentation was lovely!! Certainly be back !!

Had 30 mins before our bus home, so popped in for a drink. A queue, 2 bartenders. When it got to our turn, 1 barman had disappeared. Hubby ordered a half of ale, and a large glass of Villa Maria. Our server also disappeared round the back. Returned, asked for the order again. Poured half a glass of wine, emptying... More

Me and my boyfriend decided to try the breakfast (a small traditional fry £1,99, large orange juice £1,99 and a large latte 85p) and we were surprised how good it actually was. Going through the menu it looks very good and affordable , I definitely will give the burgers a go. The only thing bothering me was that the waiter... More

Ok for a burger but that's about it. I ordered chicken roast dinner with gravy on the side and you could clearly see the chicken had been microwaved as all dried out around the edges. Tasteless food. Have a had a burger before & it was ok Tables dirty
