Was looking forward to a visit to Boia and we tried it twice for lunch. Was ok but there are better options in Salema.

This is an amazing place - a beach bar/cafe, casual dining, and a more formal restaurant - anything you want it to be, all with wonderful views of Salema's beautiful beach. We first tried dinner on a Saturday night, but with no reservation we understandably didn't get the best table, but the quality of the food made up for that.... More

I have been to this place many times and usually end up twice on my hols!! It does the most fantastic Golden Bream! Dorado! Being so close to local fishermen this is a place to make the most of perfect fresh fish cooked to perfection! Placed superbly to the left of the main beach, this chilled out food joint is... More

First of all I must say the location of the restaurant and the views are the best anyone can possibly wish for. Located right on the seaside, it just doesn't get any better. Secondly, the food was superb. All freshly prepared from local ingredients, it was first class! We ordered oven baked cod and chicken stew - enjoyed every bite!... More

Salema has quite a few very good restaurants, and this one is certainly up there. Our chicken piri piri was not the biggest portion ever, and the waiter steered me away from the tuna suggesting I go with an alternative owing to availability. Never did find out exactly what it was that I got but it was a good alternative.... More

Had lunch here whilst friends were using the beach. Great food friendly staff and very reasonable prices. There was 7 of us so we had a good variety from the menu and no one was disappointed

Have been to Salema every year for 20 years, and the Boia Bar is one of my favourites. The food is lovely, and is a typical restaurant that you want to go to in a little fishing village where the beach is the main attraction. Situated on the promenade it is ideal for the first night of your holiday. The... More

A lovely location, and staff are the same (always a good sign in a restaurant). Some stable menu choices. Nothing that amazing here but lovely to get a table looking out to the beach. The view forgives the food quality

This restaurant is located in ome of the best spots of Salema, right next to the beach with great sea view. Food is all right, but staff is awful. Showing no interest in the guests, personnel smoking on the terrace. Once was more than enough
