Nice food, friendly service

Although very busy, we got a table for 7. The staff were very friendly and warned us it might be a wait for the food - which is fine, as long as it's expected! The food was nice- fish was good and the tiger prawn starter was great. Kids menu was well received and the price for the whole meal... read more

Tried this restaurant our first night in Salema, at 7 pm ate inside with oceanside view. Attentive waiter, who offered his favourite choices, after explaining specials. The traditional cod with tomatoes and onions was delicious, piping hot and a huge portion and the lamb was excellent as well. Vino Verde a good choice for the south, waiter suggesting apple cake... This is a great bar and restaurant right in the beach in Salema. We had a great meal here. I had fish and my partner had vegetarian lasagne. Both meals were delicious. Chilled beer and a really good bottle of red wine before we started on our great desserts. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back next year. It... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for 18 years watching it grow from the most humble Portuguese to a smart/casual restaurant with amazingly friendly staff

Very friendly service and good food too. All topped off with a great view by the beach. Not expensive either. May go back this week!

Best tuna we've ever had. The place is unpretentious and friendly and the location amazing. Definitely worth the visit.

We had dinner here....sat outside with great views of the beach...service was friendly and reasonably quick. Typical Portugese menu with lots of. fish and avariety of meats...they a roast leg of lambp special and we both had that. I had a vegatable soup starter which was a mistake....the veggies were pureed into mush..it was watery and tastless...however, the lamb saved... More

This restaurant has a beautiful location on the beach. Service was good, typical of other places we have been to in the area. We sat outside on the second level, but were bothered by smokers directly below us. Although some say restaurants in Salema do not accept credit cards we were able to easily use a chipped card here.

Restaurant has a beautiful view of the ocean and a cheery atmosphere. The seafood special of Sole was very delicate, but the other dishes that weren't daily specials were less impressive. The service was a little abrupt when our waiter cut us off from ordering a bottle of wine, and said we had to order our food first. I've never... More
