We went for lunch here and we found the ambience quite dull, even though you have views on the sea, the service is not always ideal and the food is not better than average in Salema. The prices are fair.

We booked a table at Boia yesterday night round 9,the owner was super nice and managed to fit us in at last minute notice. He found us a very cosy table by the window (to enjiy the beautiful beach view) and he made sure we were not too cold since the night was windy. The food was ok, the sardinas... More

Visited Boia three times with a party of 6, including 2 children. You are advised to book for the evening meal. Not an extensive menu, but adequate, including children's portions. Price reasonable and good quality. We found thye staff friendly and courteous.

I don't usually love fish, but loved the fish at Boia. The golden bream, simply grilled with a little salt, was very fresh and delicious; especially when washed down with vinho verde. Staff was friendly and efficient. Also a good view of the beach - ask to sit outside. Was worth the 30 minute trip from Lagos.

Unpretentious restaurant perched over the beach. Specialises in locally caught fish, cooked simply but absolutely delicious with salad and a bottle of vinho verde. Thoroughly recommended !

Was looking forward to a visit to Boia and we tried it twice for lunch. Was ok but there are better options in Salema.

This is an amazing place - a beach bar/cafe, casual dining, and a more formal restaurant - anything you want it to be, all with wonderful views of Salema's beautiful beach. We first tried dinner on a Saturday night, but with no reservation we understandably didn't get the best table, but the quality of the food made up for that.... More

First of all I must say the location of the restaurant and the views are the best anyone can possibly wish for. Located right on the seaside, it just doesn't get any better. Secondly, the food was superb. All freshly prepared from local ingredients, it was first class! We ordered oven baked cod and chicken stew - enjoyed every bite!... More
