This restaurant is a must on anybody's list of meals out in Salema - consistently high standard of menu choices, knowledgeable and friendly staff with stunning views across the bay. We have been using Boia for several years now and have never been disappointed. There is an excellent selection of fresh fish, with good wines to accompany your meal choice.... More

Lovely outlook right on the beach, staff friendly and efficient. Good choice for a family meal, children made welcome and plenty of dishes suitable for kids on not only the children's menu but the regular menu too.

Love the fish here. Sea bass, bream both faves but the calamari is worth ordering as a main it's so good. Great chips too. Can be exceptionally slow. Not such a bad thing for families with kids who want to play on the beach while they wait - just be a whole lot nicer if initial drink food orders were... More

We enjoyed our meal here - I wouldn't say it was the best we had in Salema, but it was good. We ended up sitting inside because when we visited Salema the evenings were quite chilly, but they have a nice outdoor section with a view of the beach/ocean. We went for lunch here and we found the ambience quite dull, even though you have views on the sea, the service is not always ideal and the food is not better than average in Salema. The prices are fair.

We booked a table at Boia yesterday night round 9,the owner was super nice and managed to fit us in at last minute notice. He found us a very cosy table by the window (to enjiy the beautiful beach view) and he made sure we were not too cold since the night was windy. The food was ok, the sardinas... More

Visited Boia three times with a party of 6, including 2 children. You are advised to book for the evening meal. Not an extensive menu, but adequate, including children's portions. Price reasonable and good quality. We found thye staff friendly and courteous.
