My wife and I ate at Le Theatre while staying at Le Mas D'Arvieux on the recommendation of Alex and Carolyn, the owners of that B&B. We were looking for a local, authentic restaurant and they couldn't have pointed us to anything better. The restaurant itself is what we'd call in Canada a "hole in the wall" and didn't look... More

So much more the just a great dining experience .. starting with the patrons inthusiastic presentation of the menu and the selective choice of only organic local ingredients .. the starters where an exiting mixture pf flavors and well presented dishes that looked like art and tasted like a piece of heaven .. the rest of the meal was great... I recently went to the Restaurant Le Theatre with my mother while on holiday. It's a tiny restaurant just opposite the old theatre in Tarascon. The food was delicious and well prepared-home cooking style. All the food is organic and comes from only a 20 mile radius, the owner seems really passionate about this! I ordered lamb which was really... More

If you are interested in good food that is also a healthy food, or - God forbids - you are a veterinarian, your choices in Provence are quite limited. That is why I was surprised to see such a good restaurant in Tarascon. The food is only local, and includes also meat and fish. Not too spicy, you can feel... More

The owner is passionate about the quality and provenance of her food, and it shows in the cooking. Everything is well cooked, local as far as possible, and reasonably priced - it was just a shame that we, and later another two, were the only diners. Setting is lovely, opposite the old theatre.

Lovely little ( 20 seats ) restaurant with limited menu based on local produce including Bull ( not Beef ) stew and fish. The owner is quite overwhelming about her cooking and her local produce. Not a bad , reasonably priced , meal in quirky surroundings opposite the town theatre.

We ate twice at Le Theatre in the last week. The food is artistically presented and features local meats and produce. One night the meals were exceptional - the appetizer yummy and the lamb really tender. The other was a bit more hit and miss (but still generally good overall). If you're going to get dessert, this was the one... More

Stopped off in Tarascon for a night on our way down south and came to this restaurant after reading the tripadvisor reviews. What a lovely setting! The tables are across a little lane from the restaurant just outside a stunning old theatre. The food was delicious: proper local, fresh-cooked dishes with a bit of an earthy twist. There was even... A large group of pals, 11 in total, enjoyed a lovely evening and meal at this restaurant. The terrace where we sat is across the road from the restaurant on the steps of the old theatre. Apparently it holds performances in the winter. The owner and chef was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. the dishes were explained in detail... More
