The positive reviews say it very well. This is a perfect restaurant. 36€ menu was just right & I think operates for lunch & dinner. Each dish a surprise to await. There are language problems that add to the surprise. My entree was wonderful - probably John Dory on a vegetable bed, topped with a sorbet of Japanese black garlic.... More

Moustiers is a very touristy village and the gorges of the Verdon, with justification, attract a lot of tourists. We take visitors, in this case our mothers, quite regularly to see the gorges. Where to have lunch has always been a bit problematic but no longer. This is an excellent restaurant, unpretentious but lovely. We sat outside on the terrace... More

An excellent country setting, beuatiful to sit outside and given great food. We had the menu of the day, portions small but punctuated by an excellent number of amuse bouche which were so nice one would want as a main course. We had an very nice local Rose wine which was a perfect accompaniment for the meal. The advantage of... More

The location is beautiful on a small farm just outside of Moustiers village. The service was impeccable. The 3-course menu at dinner of 39€ was incredible value and probably 6 courses once you add all the little amuse bouche, petits fours etc. Nothing too complicated or fancy just treating very fresh, good quality local ingredients with restrained technique. Excellent wine... More

After reading the good reviews, we planned to have lunch there today. Although some tables were not occupied, we were told that there is no space for us. When we were about to leave, our little daughter (3,6 y) asked if she could use the toilet which was denied very unfriendly. Consequently she was crying as it was utterly urgent.... More

We chose to eat on the patio and enjoyed it very much in spite of the cool weather. The menu changes daily; on this day, the "fish of the day" (a firm-textured white fish) was excellent, served with an anchovy cream/paste that provided a nice contrasting "bite". The portions were perfect (we didn't leave hungry). The dessert was the highlight... More

Our hotel recommended this reastaurantl for our anniversary celebration and booked us a table and taxi there and back. When we arrived we were given the choice of 2 tables and from that moment the service was impeccable without being fussy or intimidating. We had the champagne aperitif to start, it is a set menu for 39 euros for 4... More

We dined here recently while staying in Moustiers Sainte-Marie, having booked a table by phone a few weeks previously. We were glad we'd done so, as the restaurant was full and a number of people without bookings were turned away. The setting is very pretty and we had an aperitif outside, although it was not warm enough to eat out... More

We took the set menu at Euro 36. Consisting of an amuse bouche, wonderful fois gras as a first course. I had the turbot on an amazing bed of vegetables, my husband chose the veal fillet, both were excellent. As was the home baked breads. The choice of dessert was a fruit crumble or a heavenly chocolate with passion fruit.... More

We just love this restaurant and really recommend it! The setting and overall feel is amazing, the service is very attentive and friendly and the food is devine. It is exactly what we were looking for in a Provincial dinner, fancy without the fuss. Good, local, fresh food at very reasonable prices. You get the feeling that the chef and... More
