When we decide to visit Hermann, the Bank Bar at Schiller is always on our list of places to stop for a drink(s) and for conversation. The atmosphere is casual and chic, and doesn't include televisions to divert your attention from the people around you. The best part of the experience though, is the owner/bartender, Wayne! He goes out of... More

We always make time to return to Schiller's during our annual trip to Hermann. We've been there for the last 3 years and each time we always enjoy ourselves. Although we've never eaten there, the drinks and the service have always been outstanding. My husband and I tend to be wallflowers but the staff always make us feel comfortable and... More

We stopped in late on a Friday night for the live music. An amazingly talented young guy was crooning Sinatra and other standards and the crowd was into it--lively but not obnoxious. We had a ball, and it seemed to be the only place In Hermann with music that night. Drinks and beer were reasonable, staff was attentive and friendly.... More

Worst martini I have ever had! TINY and no prices on the menu. I was shocked at a $12.00 4oz watery martini and there was a table filled with incredibly loud drunks who were ridiculously obnoxious ; proprietor did not address this and we left. I cannot fathom spending $24.00 plus tip on two watery cocktails. If you're looking for... More

Thank you for your visit at the Bank Bar! We appreciate the opportunity to respond to a review that feels a bit slanderous rather than helpful, though. Our team of servers and bartenders take special care in creating every martini from start to finish. We also make every effort to follow up with our guests to see if they are... More

We stopped and had a drink during the day. They do serve dinner, but we were not there for dinner. Very friendly and a small quiet off the street outdoor patio. Very relaxing

Got to the bar at about 10pm on a Friday night to have a drink with old friends. We were told we could stay for one drink and then the bar was closing! Although others liked their drinks my lemon drop martini was awful. We had to drink up so the staff could go home. Not exactly what I would... More

We stayed in the Library Suite above the Bank Bar. One evening they had someone play Some jazz. He was a sophomore playing the trombone and sang a few songs. He was excellent and the atmosphere was great!

It's a must-experience in Hermann! The bar is run by this awesome couple and we always make sure to stop in! Their martini menu is unbelievable. Be careful how many you have, though! They have a kick!

Fun place on Friday and Saturday nights. They had a martini menu of fancy drinks. I asked for just a straight dirty martini with olives and she fixed it up great. Also my wife asked if she could put together a drink called a margatini- a cross between a martini and a margaretta and even though she had never heard... More
