Food is OK, breakfast being the best of the meals we've had here. Coffee is terrible, and "All omelet entrees come with side of hash browns" - but if you order the Farmers omelet you don't get the side because "the omelet has hash browns in it."

The foods were very tasty and huge amount. The server, however, was very unkind and spoke rather angrily, not only to me but to all customers there.

When it was 20 degrees outside, I needed something that reminded me of home. I got a yummy chicken fried steak and green beans that tasted like Grandma's. The potatoes were a bit disappointing, but that's not my favorite part anyway. I think younger people would not be too impressed, but the older generation guests seemed quite happy. It hit... More

Good service and food for the value. Not much has changed since I was younger and that was fine with me!

My husband and I had breakfast here. It is an older restaurant but it seemed clean. The food was really good. Especially the bacon and their syrup is great. The employees were friendly. The prices are reasonable. Would definitely eat there again.

We have eaten here multiple times during our yearly stay in Hannibal for the folklife festival. They always have very friendly staff and a wide variety of really good food. We will continue to eat here every year!

Stopped on our way through town. Saw the sights and enjoyed a good lunch at this local haunt. Good crumbled-meat sandwich, which reminded me of the Nu-Way that was started in Wichita many years ago. Service was attentive, and the place was clean.

This place has great Maid-Rite sandwiches. It is the only thing our group of 5 ordered, as we were in a hurry, because we had miles to drive before our motel. Our waitress was very efficient and helped us to get out quickly. We were very pleased by the speed and quality of our service. It is only a half... More

I stopped here for breakfast while visiting Hannibal. This restaurant is no-fuss, no frills. The booth we were seated in was old and lumpy, and quite squished for 3 people. The food was bland and not seasoned at all, but I will say the bacon was well cooked. The biscuits were flat and dense, not what you would expect from... More

Went for lunch based on local shop employee recommendation for their famous menu items. We did the soup, which was home made, thick and tasty. Tried the onion rings that came on a stick stacked up and again they were okay. But, we sure have had better. Then we tried the famous "maid rite" sandwich. Basically a hamburg bun with... More
