Many places in downtown Hannibal close from 2-4 or 5 in the afternoon to prepare for dinner. We were caught off guard by this and needed to find a place to eat at 2:15 PM. We went to this bar and found they have very tasty sandwiches!

Husband and I just stopped in for a beer and to get out of the heat. Enjoyed the chatter by from the locals and visitors alike. Excellent building if you like history and architecture.

My husband had a great hand made burger, and I had the best grilled tenderloin I have ever had! It was worth the trip to Hannibal!
