Early for the riverboat cruise, so grabbed lunch here. We liked that we could eat outside. Tasty sandwiches-bleu catfish and a reuben-were flavorful; 5 Day IPA went went both very well. Great service from friendly server. Former owner Sid was right-the food is really good here!

Bratwurst, that is. Very simply fixed with sauerkraut and onions, this brat was locally sourced and mildly spiced. Not greasy and perfectly browned and just a little crispy. The waitress - wish I could give her shout out by name - was kind and efficient and made sure I made my 7pm tour.

Stopped for lunch and the server was awesome as well as the beer selection. The food is very good and I would definitely go back if in the area again.

Stopped here after touring the Samuel Clemens museum. It was late afternoon and the place was pretty empty. We wanted catfish to have with our drinks, the cook had it up very quickly. Bartender was friendly, pretty typical small town bar where the locals hang out at night.

The menu is NOT what is shown on trip advisor! It basically has sandwiches. No fish sandwiches and one salad option. BEWARE!

If you want to go to a jumping tavern...this is it. Very clean. Service is awesome. It is a favorite of the locals. Give it try for drinks and light fair and sports talk.

My wife, daughter and I were driving through Hannibal on our way back to Wisconsin from a visit to the University of Missouri. We needed lunch. I used Trip Advisor and identified a few places. The first was closed at 1:30-2:00 in the afternoon (odd for a diner). The other did not have a burger on the menu, and my... More

We drove by in the early afternoon, with a couple people sitting outside. It looked kind of nice, so we checked into our motel, and Matt at the motel recommended this place first. We stopped in earlier in the afternoon to try one of their tap beers. They were very good, and we promised to stop by for supper. I... More

This was the 4th place I walked into to try and find something to eat due to 3 other restaurants that were listed as top restaurants and they were all closed. I opened the door and asked the lady where I could get something to eat in this town and she said here. I sat down and got good food... More
