The Abby Rose didn't make it as a bistro, they closed almost a year ago. Then reopened as a charitable soup kitchen, but couldn't make it as that either. Now the space is an antique mall. Ate there once while it was a bistro, it had few menu choices, OK food, and terrible service.

On 5th street and away from the centre of town. Looks to be coverted from a large house. A liitle quirky but attractive. Good choice of menu and friendly service. House wines ok and reasonably priced at around $40pp for 2 courses with wine.

I have eaten here in the past and the service has always left a little to be desired but my visit on Oct 23, 2011 was the last straw. Terrible service and I'll never return. I'm not even going to get into details but trust me. I am only giving a two because the food has always been fairly good... More

Our group of 10 showed up at 12:30pm for lunch. There were only two other tables with diners, so there was plenty of room and we were seated right away. We ordered our food at 12:45pm and didn't receive it until 1:35pm. We would have understood if the place would have been busy, but other than us, there were only... More

Stopped here on our way through Hannibal and it was all that was described on here and more. I had the Italian Beef, my husband had the Monte Cristo, an we both had sweet potato fries. Wonderful on all counts.

I'm actually a local who frequents Abby Rose often for lunch and always recommend it to others. Abby Rose is a few steps above your average midwestern meal. Great presentation, fresh, delicious ingredients. Service isn't always very fast, but the atmosphere is so pleasant you shouldn't mind waiting for a freshly prepared meal.
