The meal was an unexpected pleasure in a small space with limited but efficient and attentive staff. Our entree's consisted of the Shrimp Istanbul and the Mediterranean version of "The Plaza"--their lamb chop specialty. They do not have an extensive wine list, but their house wines are adequate to the task. We had their pinot grigio with the Adana Salade... More

Whenever I have friends or family visit from out of state this is where we go for dinner. My most recent visit was with my sister and niece from Seattle, WA. I was delighted to hear that my favorite dinner was on the menu, the seafood stuffed salmon. After much indecision over the many menu choices in the end my... More

We visited Hannibal in July for a birthday trip for our granddaughter. Recommended by ghost trip narrater. We were very surprised with the atmosphere and food considering they were open later than other restaurants. The owner and wait staff were very attentive and pleasant. My daughter could not stop raving about it.

This restaurant is off the beaten path of the downtown and main highways but well worth your time to locate. I've eaten in 42 countries and had lamb many times but this was one of the best meals I've ever been served. Presentation excellent and the taste superb. My wife had Imperial Shrimp and enjoyed it also. Will be back!

Steve, It is very nice to hear that you enjoyed the lamb chops, one of my personal favorites. Imperial Shrimp is a new dish we just launched this past week. So far, it is staying with us for a while, because of the great feedback on it. Your wife should try Shrimps Istanbul on her next visit, my mother's recipe... More

We recently spent a day-and-a-half in Hannibal, Missouri. I've wanted to go there since I first read Tom Sawyer as a child. For the one evening meal we would have in Hannibal, I wanted something extraordinary, and we found it in Labinnah Bistro. The bistro is in a small, turn-of-the-century house along 5th St. in Hannibal. They used to call... More

My wife and I recently made a trip to Hannibal with our grandson. We were expecting to find only typical Midwestern fare. But found LaBinnah. Very eclectic European menu with delicious flavors. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly.

Just happened that this restaurant was recommended to us. Food was excellent, and I love asparagus. I loved their garlic shrimp and bar-b-que pork chops. To top things off, I could not resist dessert. The best baklava I ever tasted. If I ever get back to Hannibal (LaBinnah spelled backwards) I'm heading right there.

Just my opinion, but I think food overpriced for the portions served and the lack of any 'real' sides. . A lot of "filler" type window dressing. It seems asparagus is the only vegetable they know on a regular basis. I ordered Cowboy Cut, medium cooked. It came well done. No salad with meal. That has to be ordered separately.... More

Dear Reviewer, We are sorry to see you only rated us two stars. However, your review is without any basis. First of all, you complain that the portion of your steak was small, but our steaks are close to 16 oz. Anyone who dined here before, knows it very well that our portions for steak entrees are very big (there... More
