Very Good Lunch!

We came for an overnight stay for our anniversary. I love Italian so wanted to try the Brick Oven for dinner. The food was great! Service was very personal and attentive. You Must get the oven baked bread! I have never had any dip like that before, and it was so good this will be a must have whenever we... More

The place looks ok and we were seated promptly. I wanted lasagna, but they were out of this item at 5pm. Received a very small side salad with just lettuce and 1 tomato slice. The very thin crust pizza (we like this style) was burnt on the edges and almost uneatable. We noticed this on other pizzas coming to nearby... More

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, but I did not like the fact no paper towels in the men's restroom. I pizza was a nice size I was disappointed the Brick did not have more meat. Very nice service -------------- would give it another try.

Recently went to the Brick Oven, a small Italian restaurant in downtown Hannibal. I am used to Italian Restaurants "On The Hill" in St. Louis. Very Italian and very authentic. The owner of this restaurant should take a field trip to St. Louis to understand how a $16.00 pasta entree should look and taste. Two cups of penne pasta noodles,... More

We were hot and hungry and The Brick Oven was just what we needed to get cool and fed. The waitress was exceptional, and the food! Oh my, some of the best wood fired pizza to pass our lips. The sauce wasn't overpowering, the toppings were generous, and the taste was outstanding. We wish we had this restaurant closer to... More

It's obviously a favorite with the locals and I can see why! The service was just right - checking, but not hovering. The pizza was really flavorful - crust crunchy & toppings perfectly cooked. Yum!

Good food - good wait staff! Would have returned but it was closed over the Fourth Holiday! Bad for business I would think!

Good pizza and a special friend are always hard to find. My daughter and I were hosting special friend Hilly with dinner the end of April. We liked the fact that the restaurant is fairly small but has great atmosphere. Our waiter was most attentive and the pizza was terrific. I recommend this place to everyone.

Went to the Brick Oven for lunch and had a crisp salad and wonderful pizza. The atmosphere in the older building fits in well with downtown Hannibal. Good service and good food!
