Consistent experience

We visited Brio while on our trip in STL. We have one near us in Dallas. The experience was very consistent with other Brio's.

Brio has a good name in St. Louis, and it offers a wide range of Italian food American style. Most of the dishes have Italian names but very often they are seriously influenced by the American style of preparing huge plates full of food and sides. I took the Manzo Toscano, ordered it to be rare and it came according... More

Dining at Brio is very pleasant both inside and out. The restaurant is quite spacious and bright and the outdoor deck areas are alive with lots of very happy patrons. The bar area is always crowded, especially after work. I had the double pork chops which were enormous. I took one home which is probably only the third or fourth... More

I had lunch here with my aunt. The food was good. I had a panini and she had pasta. Some of the items on the menu were a little price, but the food is filling. The service was good. I would eat here again.

Brio is an absolutely great place for Happy Hour. It starts each day at 3:30 (for those wanting to leave the office and start the fun early) It used to be called a "Cougar Bar" however that has changed over the years. There is a mixed group of people of all ages that are all there for great inexpensive appetizers... More

This placed is unnecessarily overpriced. They have an elaborate menu, but there is hardly any option for vegetarians. I ordered a vegetarian Panini, and requested no mayo due to egg allergy. What I got was two pieces of bland, half-cooked awful looking slices of eggplant with some melted cheese disguised as Panini. The accompanying salad was OK though.

I wasn't overly impressed with this place. I had the lasagna, which is always a true test of authentic Italian food. It was average, the service was average, the atmosphere is crowded and loud, just all around average.

Good overall service, food was very tasty and service quickly. We sat at the bar to avoid a wait and because of that we had several waiters and some errors in service but overall a pleasant experience. Took way to long to get the bill paid, I always hate to sit around waiting for someone to take my money! $86... More

Stayed at the nearby Hilton and walked over for dinner one night. Service was very good. Friendly and attentive but not too in your face. Waiter handled requested food modifications with grace and the food was quite good. From what I could tell in the area - this is one of the best options.

On the pricey side, but the service and food quality was worth the visit. Pretty vibrant scene, louder than I thought it would be, but it wasn't too bad. My hard-of-hearing grandma couldn't participate in much of the conversation though because of the ambient noise.
