Predictably good experience

This is the second restaurant in this chain where I've eaten. As usual, there is a very good selection of menu items at reasonable prices. I love their brunch but this time went for dinner while away from home. My order of lamb chops medium rare came well done. No problem, they replaced them... read more

Went for lunch with a friend on a Friday. We sat on the patio. They do have a really nice patio.Although the service was good, the food really was just average. We each ordered the soup and salad lunch. We both had the lobster bisque soup. Pretty much the only thing we could taste in the soup was the salt.... More

The patio is exceptional here for people who look for that. The bar was sticky and is definitely missing some detailed cleaning. I had the chopped salad which was pretty good. My entree was the shrimp and lobster ravioli and it was ok, but I wouldn't get it again. The ravioli didn't taste like it was made fresh, but rather... More

We went on a busy Sunday evening. There must have been some confusion b/c it took a long time for someone to take our drink order. Then it took a very long time to get drinks. Then it took an even longer time to take our food order. All four of us asked for anchovies on our Caesar. Two of... More

I not a fan of most chain Italian places and have been to a Brio one other time before this visit. We met a my wife's colleague and her husband for dinner. They had something I have not seen before a kale Caesar Salad and it was excellent. I did not feel like pasta so I had the margerita flat... More

We debate whether we could to return to Brio. Our issue was acoustics, too noisy to enjoy visiting while dining. They seeked to have changed the fabric draping across the dining areas to muffle the noise. Success! We had a very pleasant and efficient server. I feel one of our diners of our company was a bit demanding. She handles... More

We visited Brio while on our trip in STL. We have one near us in Dallas. The experience was very consistent with other Brio's.

Brio has a good name in St. Louis, and it offers a wide range of Italian food American style. Most of the dishes have Italian names but very often they are seriously influenced by the American style of preparing huge plates full of food and sides. I took the Manzo Toscano, ordered it to be rare and it came according... More

Dining at Brio is very pleasant both inside and out. The restaurant is quite spacious and bright and the outdoor deck areas are alive with lots of very happy patrons. The bar area is always crowded, especially after work. I had the double pork chops which were enormous. I took one home which is probably only the third or fourth... More

I had lunch here with my aunt. The food was good. I had a panini and she had pasta. Some of the items on the menu were a little price, but the food is filling. The service was good. I would eat here again.
