My girlfriend and I have finally found the PERFECT Mexican restaurant! The service is great but the food is "T H E B E S T". You can not go wrong! Give it a try!! This is our new Mexican restaurant and they nail it every time! Very consistent with everything!

The food is great traditional mexican food. We have lunch there often when we go to St. Louis (from Illinois). Have recently been to Ruiz several times for lunch with friends, and several times in the evening with family! They have very friendly service, and awesome food, the beans are the best that I have had in St. Louis. I would recommend to any of my friends!

After spending the morning shopping, we stopped for lunch at Ruiz. My husband had his favorite--sausage fajitas and I had the Create Your Own 3--cheese enchilada, beef taco and beef quesadilla along with beans and rice. Yum Yum!!! Our family has been coming to Ruiz for 40 years. They've remained our favorite. Casual and comfortable with the most delicious food. Try the beef enchiladas. They're the best in town! Nowdays we have to drive a long way to get to them. it's worth it! The staff is so friendly they make you feel like family.

Never had an experience I remember enjoying. Reading recent reviews I thought.."lets give it another try...". Bill was wrong, I was looked at like I was the one that couldn't add and the food is average at best. I've been more satisfied with Taco Bell grilled-stuffed burritos.

We moved to the St Louis area in 1976. Ruiz was one of the first restaurants we went to as a family. Our service experience was excellent and we just loved the food. I've been to quite a few Mexican restaurants in various areas of the country. I've never experienced food like Ruiz. Definitely a must for those who want authentic food with friendly service!!
