The local chain of Mosaic restaurants unexpectedly shuttered. While they may have been a bit on the inconsistent side, I am still sorry to hear that they've closed shop.
My wife and I chose this location for VD. We arrived earlier than our reservation for some happy hour drinks, the bartender for some reason, completely ignored us (for at least 7 minutes) and then rudely and loudly announced we were too late for HH. We decided to do some quick shopping as this bartender had it out for us.... More
We went to Sunday brunch at Mosaic with high expectations and a Groupon for two that cost $23 (value up to $46). From beginning to end the expericence was pretty disappointing. For starters, I don't understand how they think you can spend $23 per person. That includes a mimosa valued at $5 which leaves $18 for an entree. Yet the... More
I had a breakfast meeting at the Mosaic in St Louis and was impressed by service and quality of food. We had a choice of main plates and I had french toast which was delicious, staff were friendly and the room was great for our events.
We were very disappointed in our recent Mother's Day Brunch. I will highlight the concerns: 1. Upon arrival one of prep person from the kitchen was picking pieces of French Toast with her hands and individually placing from the prep pan to the serving area without gloves. 2. The buffet started at the servers pick up area straight from the... More
The food was okay but the service was awful. It took 3 hours for a two course dinner. We waited 45 minutes just to get our bill. We won't go back and would not recommend to anyone.
Decided to try here for Sunday brunch with a friend. The food was very good as was the service. We did not wait long for the food and when it arrived it was hot. Looking over the menu, it seems like there are lots of things to offer for a lunch or dinner trip too.All items were reasonably priced. There... More
Mosaic has two locations in St. Louis; we visited the Des Peres location for lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. The interior was very nice, prices reasonable and while the food was good, it is not five star. We started with the pot stickers - they were deep fried and had a definite five spice flavor, with a Thai... More
I made a dinner reservation for a party of 10 for Saturday evening. We had several other dinner options, but decided we like the ambiance and food at Mosaic. The person who took my reservation indicated we would be seated at the "Chef's Table" for dinner. He mentioned the owners unfortunately sometimes bump guests from the Chef's Table at the... More
Hello Beth, Thank you for posting your review! I sincerely apologize for the inexcusable service that you received from the staff member that took your reservation. The fact that he stated that the owner would "bump" reservations is reprehensible and he marked the reservation to be seated in sofa sections without even your acknowledgement. I completely agree with your reviews... More
My husband and I decided to give Mosaic a second chance. The first time we went we ate at the bar. We were told that one of the bartenders called in sick (the day after Mardi Gras) and so the sole bartender was swamped. He tried to keep up and others tried to help but when the bar is full... More
