We Tried the I 70 location. The bread for the sandwiches was a bit stale. Portions of meat on the sandwiches were small. Fried mushroom appetizer $6.99? That's like 75¢ each. Great service though!

If you are in the mood for BBQ, this place will definitely satisfy. Delicious, fresh, and the sauces are amazing.

Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was standard for a BBQ joint in Missouri/Kansas. Loved the fact that they had several different sauces to try and add to your ribs. Baby backs themselves were outstanding. Loved the baked beans and cole slaw very well done as well.

Tasty tasty tasty!! First off their coleslaw is my favorite, it has a bit of horseradish in it which gives it such a unique flavor. Brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey are all good as well. The sweet potato with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon is delicious. I've been here quite a few times and always enjoy the good. Don't... More

My wife and I used to eat at Buckinghams probably three or four times a year. Last time we ate there, the service was very average and the food was average or below. We thought it was just a fluke, and gave it another try yesterday. Nope. I wasn't a fluke. I don't know what they're doing, but they had... More

We wanted to grab a quick meal while on the road and decided to give this a try. We both had the Sandwich Special, which was a sandwich and two sides. The brisket was excellent, as were the beans and potato salad. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent! I highly recommend it! Also, it right off... More

We had pick a different place to eat, but way to smoking from cigarettes. Didn't feel we could eat there. Pick a different location asked the people coming out how it was. Decided not to go there. Our next choice was here, and we were happy all the others one did not work out for us. Service was great. Food... More

I'm a little nostalgic about this restaurant from my college years, but you have to hand it to Buckingham for not letting its standards slip over time. I highly recommend the brisket and the baked beans. The pulled pork is also good with the spicy bbq sauce on it. For those who are not voraciously hungry, the Pit Salad is... More

There is a sign hanging in this restaurant identifying it as the best place in Columbia to eat BBQ for a number of consecutive years. WE COULDN'T DISAGREE MORE! We had the worst barbeque we have EVER experienced---it was old beef and sliced extremely thin so you might miss the toughness. It was served with a sauce that was not... More

Buckingham's is a frequent quick stop for lunch. This time I ordered 10 pounds of meat and sides for a party. The brisket and turkey were hot, right out of the oven. The meat was moist and had a nice smokey flavor. The beans were very special. The potato salad was okay, but not special. I placed my order a... More
