Great place that you must try at least once while you're in Columbia. The pizza is delicious and it's such a fun atmosphere to be in--there's a reason Shakespeare's is overflowing with people on game day. They have a clock of sorts that tells you the expected wait time, which is worth it every time. The outdoor seating is nice... More

Amazing pizza that is worth the wait (40 minutes when we visited). We loved the way they called out your name or any other creative message that you gave them. Fun!

Shakespeare's pizza is an institution in Columbia Missouri where you see every type of person. When it opened it was one of the only pizzas using quality ingredients (sometimes innovative) ones. The pizza world has caught up with them and passed them but its location, its great pizza by the slice for lunch and it is a place where people... More

I've been going to Shakespeare's for a number of years now and it has some of the best pizza in the area. If you go over the lunch hours (11 to 1pm) you can get pizza by the slice if you wish. It is also one of the few that carries both Pepsi and Coke products. You can get really... More

First off, I love pizza. I really do. And I'd much rather buy from a pizzeria other than a national chain. All that being said, Shakespeare's would be fantastic if the bottom of the pizza wasn't ALWAYS nearly burnt. Having to expend effort to really bite through a pizza crust is a little annoying. Otherwise, it's as good as everyone... More

Best pizza in Columbia, bar none. You pay for excellence however, expensive. There are three Shakespeare's now in different areas of the city. Incredibly noisy and very busy. It is impossible to hear yourself think. Expect to wait to be seated and wait for your pizza--45 minutes is not unheard of. You pick up your own pizza so service is... More

Went to my brother's for Thanksgiving and we made homemade pizzas. Guess what we used for the crust? That's right! Shakespeare's dough! It was awesome and I had no idea you could buy just the dough and take home. They offer so many different things to make enjoying their products even more easy.

Love Shakespeare's pizza! We often grab the single slice option offered at lunch. When you eat in, kids will love the dough they give them to mangle while waiting. They are always upbeat & friendly at all the locations. It's a local tradition for pizza lovers.

Shakespeare's Pizza is the best pizza in town. Quality ingredients and good taste are consistently there at Shakespeare's. We have never been disappointed with their food. They can be a bit noisy and crowded at times but they cater to everyone and do it well. Great place for families, especially the South side restaurant.
