Wonderful place, great food

This was our first visit to this restaurant and will not be our last. Wonderful atmosphere, great friendly service, and wonderful food. Their beverage menu is immense and there is something for everyone. This is definately on the return list.

Portions were big and place was more upscale. I prefer more of a casual place myself but this nice for special occasions. All 5 of us liked our food, I had the chicken sandwich, 3 had the porkbelly ruben and the 5th person had a cheeseburger. We split the breadpudding- very good! I would suggest trying to save room for... More

The food is tasty and plentiful. Wide variety of entrees including great curry dishes. Wine selection is awesome. Deserts are not to be missed especially the bread pudding!!!

Unique food but with children should offer some "normal things" beer was good. Appetizers were late and a little overdone. But we're better the first time we went. The service is rude and doesn't like you to request where you sit. Would eat here again just because it's close to work.

I recently took my wife on a date here, and while the food was excellent the ambiance of the place is just Ok. I'd go again for the food and drink selection (also excellent), but for a more romantic date I'd avoid it.

44 Stone is a nice break from traditional fare. The mushy peas and pasty are my favorites. There are LOTS of brews on tap for the connoisseur. Inside is nice and quaint making it a great date location.

An enormous selection of beers, including locally brewed! Wait staff is polite, attentive and personable. The menu has enough variety to please almost anyone without being overwhelming.

Extensive and quality beer and cider collection including lots of bottles and a nice tap selection as well. Really nice. The food here is great, with an English theme, and service is always fantastic. Apps are all great, and the sandwiches are killer. Check them out for an English Brunch on Sundays - you can get a Full English Breakfast... More

My friend went to 44 Stone to celebrate my birthday this evening. The restaurant was full but not really crowded. Our waitress was more concerned with flipping her hair than taking our order. When we did manage to steal a very short moment of her precious time we just couldn't order fast enough for her. She completely ignored my friend... More

44 Stone is a staple...I honestly haven't had a bad thing here. At the top of my favs are: - the most amazing French fries (Randy's) ever with the BEST in-house sauces: beer ketchup & Sriracha aioli - fish & chips - tandoori chicken sandwich - lamb sliders - tikka masala soup
