Loved this place and it's awesome burgers! They also have some great beers including an English Ale that was amazing. The interior is very interesting with some hilarious placards. Staff could have a bit more energy and be a tad friendlier though!

Some places get great reviews because they have great food. Others get great reviews because they are beloved by locals. This place falls into the later category. The burgers are okay. That is about it. They are dry and overcooked. They are small, as you expect from sliders, but if you order a couple, they are not really inexpensive. I... More

Had a great lunch at Boockes with the boys. My eleven year old is turning into a burger connoisseur and really enjoyed the cheeseburger. It was $3.75 and about the size of your fist. I saw most people buying two burgers at a time and that is probably what we should have done but the bill would have been pretty... More

Traveling between Kansas City and St. Louis on a 12 hour drive home to MS and wanted to eat at a local restaurant known for their burgers and they certainly didn't disappoint!! My friends and I were exhausted from a long weekend trip to the CWS in Omaha, but we were rejuvenated by the unique atmosphere, friendly employees and delicious... More

Booches is an institution especially for Mizzou students. Its a pool hall with a small grill that serves up the best burgers in town. No frills & inexpensive. Make sure you pop over & have a couple or three. Not to be missed!

We heard about this place from a friend, and decided to give it a try. The burgers are larger than a White Castle or a slider you would find at Chili's, but not quite the full sized burger you would expect, so most people would probably order 2 of them. We had the cheeseburgers, kraut dog, and chili cheese dog.... More

No trip to Columbia is complete without a couple of Booche burgers. And last week it was my pleasure to spend a few minutes with the proprietor, Rick Robertson. Kudos to Rick who in 2014 is celebrating 10 years of ownership. Well done, my friend. Both your work and my burgers!

We love to go to local places so this was a must do on our trip west! What a fun place...it really is an old billard hall...so an on staying after lunch for a game. Beautiful tables. We had their speciality. ..a cheeseburger. Delicious...but would be so much better if it was just a tad larger & maybe served on... More

Also love the 63 diner's fare, however, if you are downtown on a sleepy afternoon or evening this would be my choice for a great burger or two or three. Limited seating so don't go at lunchtime or Friday evening if you're in a hurry. Burgers slow cooked and super yummy. Voted best burger in Columbia by Columbians many times.... More

I used to work in Columbia, and Booches was my favorite place for lunch. I had a group of friends who ate their at least several times a week. I can't even guess how many "e-grills" I have eaten there. (An "e-grill" is a cheese burger with everything, the onions grilled.) People who once were in Columbia because of the... More
