We visited here as a family of 3 looking to have a nice meal and a few drinks. We ordered appetisers which were 2 for 1 and absolutely massive! We ordered mushrooms and there was about 30 on the plate. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Kansas City strip steak and it was one of the best... read more

Every time we are in Columbia, I have to make time to eat lunch at The Heidelberg! I always order the Reuben. It has just the right combination of corned beef and kraut...yum! The German potato salad is the perfect side. You will want to arrive early to get a seat at this great restaurant! You will not be disappointed!

Our family went to the Heidelberg following graduation ceremony. They have a varied menu and large portions. While many of us just had soup and sandwiches, we all thought the food was great.

The food is not very good. Obviously, it is frozen not fresh food. I don't mind the fact that it looks just like the old place did decades ago. If you stop by for a beer it will bring back memories, just don't order any food.

Got in within 5 minutes of arriving, pure luck. Very crowded and noisy. Great staff, kept drink cups filled. As crowded as they were the food came out quickly and was hot, fresh, and good. There was a huge line and wait when we left. Perfect location to walk to while on campus.

Waited 35 minutes on a table food was not hot and out of several things. If you wanted an omelet it would be another 35 minutes.

My son and I discovered Heidelberg burgers about 9 months ago. They were a good price, service was friendly, and the buns were baked fresh. We recently returned again looking forward to the great burgers and although the service was still good the burgers are now served on what seems to be a frozen store bought bun. These burgers used... Very dated interior. Excellent wait staff. The food was very mediocre. It was buy 1 get 1 free appetizers. We had the pretzels and the spinach artichoke dip; nothing to write home about. I decided to get the pork tenderloin sandwich. While the portion was huge, the food was bland. I would have ranked them lower if not for the... More

Friendly service and good food. Love the 'Berg. The location is central to downtown Columbia and the MU campus. The Quad is just across the street.

A Columbia classic. Must get my potato skin fix here at least once a week. The 'berg doesn't do the fanciest Sunday brunch in town, but for the money it's quite sufficient. I've never left the place hungry...
